Timeform View

A difficult finale to solve but preference is for ATMOSPHERE, who turned in his best effort of the season when finishing runner-up at Newcastle 10 days ago and a repeat should see Richard Spencer's 4-y-o go very close under recently crowned Champion Apprentice Jack Callan. Beauty Generation and Eloquencia both arrive in top form, so they look the biggest threats, with Guest House another to consider at forecast longer odds.

Timeform Comments

Atmosphere
Enthusiastic sort who was successful 3 times during 2025 and was knocking on the door with back-to-back seconds at Kempton in the spring. Clearly well suited by the return to all-weather when second of 13 at Newcastle (7f) 10 days ago but he's considered from the same mark.
Rhythm N Rock (IRE)
Posted his best effort for a while when ending long losing run at Kempton in May. Finished mid-division in both subsequent starts but shaped with a little encouragement from a long way back at same track (1m) just over 6 weeks ago. This a first turf outing since September 2023.
The Golden Snitch (IRE)
Held up off a strong pace when fourth in a Doncaster novice on debut and subsequent efforts suggest he was flattered that day, most recently when going off too hard to give himself a chance of staying a 2f longer trip on handicap debut at Sandown (1¼m, good to soft) last month.
Guest House (IRE)
Got back on the up back at his favoured venue when notching his third Yarmouth success of the season in 14-runner event last month, leading close home. Probably remained in form up in class when fifth of 11 there (1m, good) earlier in the month so not without each-way hope.
Eloquencia
Improved to make a winning handicap debut in first-time cheekpieces at Ripon (1¼m). Didn't look herself when bidding to follow up at Chester in early-July but got back on track after 12 weeks off when third of 12 in handicap over C&D (good to firm) last month. Cheekpieces reapplied.
Amused (IRE)
Runner-up 3 times this season, most recently in August. Shaped better than distance beaten suggests when sixth of 8 at Epsom (8.5f, good) on his penultimate start but underperformed at Windsor just over 5 weeks ago. Bounce back needed.
Wield
Ran his best race when second of 10 at Southwell in late-August. Well held on both subsequent outings though, so difficult to know what mood he will be in. First-time cheekpieces go on for this return to turf and mark eases further.
Born A Rebel
Won twice over 7f in lesser grades last year, including on July course. Has been running even better in defeat of late, coming home strongly when close third at Yarmouth (1m) on penultimate start. Needs to shrug off a lamentable effort over C&D 4 weeks ago, however.
Wind Summer (IRE)
Much improved when springing a surprise from the front at Kempton last month and shaped as if still in good form when fourth of 10 there (1m) recently. Was tailed off on his only previous turf outing 12 months ago so percentage call is to look elsewhere.
Platinum Prince
Veteran who showed all of his quirks (worried out of it) when season's best runner-up in a race where plenty didn't handle conditions at Goodwood (1¼m, heavy) last month. Backed that up when fourth of 14 at Brighton (1m) since, though it was hard work on less testing ground. Place claims again.
Majd Al Kazem (FR)
Good third in 7f Catterick maiden last August but precious little to shout about in 4 handicaps so far, including upped in trip at Wolverhampton (1½m) 9 days ago.
Amarachi (IRE)
Responded well to fitting of cheekpieces when registering wide-margin success at Bath (1m) in September and has continued in good heart with placed up efforts since. No reason why she won't go well again in this groove.
Beauty Generation (IRE)
Has had a tendency to start very slowly but gained a first success for this yard at Nottingham (1¼m) in July. Has backed that up in 3 outings since, second of 6 at Newcastle (1m) just under 3 weeks ago. Should remain competitive.
Guilty Verdict
Easily best effort in qualifying runs at 2 yrs when third at Salisbury on second start. Possibly needed the outing on the back of a year-long absence and a gelding operation on his recent handicap debut at Bath (5.7f, firm) and this should reveal more. Upped markedly in trip.
Man From Havana
More than hinted at ability in 3 outings over 1m last year but well beaten in a couple of handicaps this year, possibly needing the run after 4 months off at Bath (1m, firm) recently.
