4-time course winner MEHMAN did well to get as close as he did when fifth over C&D a fortnight ago and lurking on a dangerous mark, he gets the tentative vote to end a lengthy losing sequence in reapplied blinkers. Rappell arrives on the back of a string of placed efforts, so Paul Flynn's 5-y-o could emerge as the main danger, with Eichan San and Faoladh another couple to consider, as well.

Timeform Comments

Shoot To Kill (IRE)
Returned to form with back-to-back placed efforts in May and cranked it up another notch in form terms when third of 15 at Fairyhouse in July. Shaped as if still in good form from a poor draw at Galway next time but not so good at Hamilton (6f, good) 9 weeks ago.
Coronado King (IRE)
Opened his account in Wolverhampton maiden last October. Little impact in 4 all-weather handicaps since and has moved yards ahead of this return (3,500 gns).
Mehman
On a long losing sequence but this 4-time course winner posted a good third of 13 here (6f) last month. Gambled on when fifth of 14 over C&D a fortnight ago and while he's not the easiest to win with, he's one to look out for lurking on a dangerous mark. Blinkers back on.
Saga Lucia (IRE)
Showed fair ability in maidens but has gone the wrong way. Back in a handicap but she's tough to enthuse over.
Faoladh (IRE)
Successful twice in handicaps this season, bouncing back to form when scoring at the Galway festival (7f). Shaped as if still in good form when sixth of 14 at Leopardstown (7f, good to soft) 5 days ago so enters calculations returned to all-weather.
Rappell (IRE)
Opened his account for the year at Limerick (6.7f) in July. Decent placed efforts last 3 starts and won here (6f) last autumn off 4 lb higher.
Socratea (IRE)
Hasn't progressed from staying-on seventh in 1m Naas maiden on debut (bred to stay well). Handicaps likely to have always been the plan and she could show plenty more under an up-and-coming claimer who has enjoyed recent success.
Big Jake (IRE)
Has been brought along steadily and wasn't disgraced making handicap debut when eighth of 14 at this course (10.7f) last week. Markedly dropped in trip.
Comfort Line (IRE)
A 7-time course winner. Also scored at the Curragh in August. Wasn't seen to best effect from the widest draw at this track (10.7f) last week and looks to have the same problem here despite an easing mark.
Phoenix Pairc (IRE)
Took advantage of a drop in grade when winning 14-runner event at Roscommon (7.4f, good to soft) in late-August. Shaped as if still in good form when sixth of 18 at Fairyhouse (7f, good) the following month and not without each-way hope back on all-weather.
Iff In Doubt (IRE)
Showed improved form at this course last winter, opening account over C&D in February. Back to form after a break when fourth of 14 over C&D a fortnight ago and his usual tongue tie is quickly reapplied. Respected but draw could've been kinder.
Montevetro (IRE)
Has failed to kick on since debut second at Chelmsford in March for Charlie Appleby. Yet to threaten in 4 starts for this yard and hard to know what trip he wants.
Zheleznaya Dama (USA)
Career best when winning 16-runner event at Naas (7f) in early-August but well held on both subsequent starts. Leap of faith required on all-weather bow.
Eichan San (IRE)
Yet to win but returned to form with blinkers quickly refitted when second of 20 at the Curragh (7f, soft) 8 days ago. Solid each-way claims.
Battle Borne (IRE)
C&D maiden winner in February who posted easily his best effort since when second in a 1m claimer at same course in May. However, has struggled in handicaps otherwise. RESERVE.
Dervo Annie (IRE)
Runner-up at Fairyhouse in July but has lost her way since. RESERVE.
Boston Benjamin (IRE)
Off the mark in C&D handicap in February. Showed nothing in 2 hurdle outings but fared much better returned to the level when third of 12 in handicap over C&D last week. RESERVE.
