Timeform View

BABY PEARL took a big step forward from her debut when second at Wexford 11 weeks ago and with the prospect of more to come, looks the way to go. Ronnie's Rascal is an obvious contender for Willie Mullins, while Casheldale Lass (behind the selection at Wexford) could be in the hunt again.

Timeform Comments

Casheldale Lass (IRE)
Fair Flat winner and showed a bit in a couple of maiden hurdles this summer. Place claims again with a repeat of the form of her Wexford third.
Idomything (IRE)
Modest Flat winner for this yard. Well held on hurdles bow last August. Hard to fancy.
Railwayview Lady (IRE)
Fairly useful Flat winner who ran respectably on her first start for Gavin Cromwell at Doncaster last month. One to note now jumping (related to fairly useful hurdler Instant Karma).
Reponse Finale (IRE)
Fair Flat winner (raced 3 times in 4 days upon joining this yard in August, scoring twice). Holding her form but will need to find some improvement to feature on hurdles debut.
Baby Pearl (IRE)
Showed a lot more than first time up after 8 months off when second in 17f Wexford novice hurdle, beaten just 2 lengths (Casheldale Lass 3½ lengths behind in third). Should progress further and leading claims.
Cala Gracioneta (IRE)
Fair maiden on the Flat and shaped with some promise sent hurdling at Punchestown (2½m) 10 days ago, doing well to work her way on to the tail of the leaders given her erratic jumping. Open to improvement with hood fitted. Engaged 2.46 Clonmel Thursday.
Everin Dream (IRE)
From a successful family for the yard but she looked one for the longer term on hurdles debut at Roscommon last month (jumped none too fluently).
Faerie Tales (IRE)
Uninspiring Flat record and has gone the wrong way from a promising hurdles debut, well beaten again at Listowel 4 weeks ago.
Gratitudeforgrace (FR)
Well held in bumpers/maiden hurdles. Probably a handicap project.
Look At You (IRE)
Failed to settle but showed ability first time up when third in 2m Limerick juvenile hurdle in March, losing second close home. Entitled to improve.
Mystic Rose (IRE)
Maiden staying handicapper at a modest level on the Flat. Made more impact third time up over hurdles at Downpatrick recently, though again failed to impress with her jumping.
Ragstoriches (IRE)
Never involved in Punchestown maiden hurdle on debut last week.
River Moy (IRE)
Made the frame here on the middle of her 3 starts in bumpers but looked one for the longer term in this sphere on her first crack hurdling at Fairyhouse earlier this month.
Ronnie's Rascal (IRE)
Proving consistent rather than progressive over hurdles, finishing third again at Tramore (2½m) a fortnight ago. Not sure this drop back in trip will be ideal but she's one of the major players nevertheless.
Pat's Prodigies (IRE)
Never dangerous in Punchestown bumper last week. RESERVE.
Real Lark (IRE)
Well beaten in 2 bumpers. RESERVE.
Meenvee (IRE)
Mahler filly. Dam 2m-2½m hurdle winner, half-sister to useful hurdler/chaser (stays 23f) Torygraph (by Mahler). RESERVE.
