SOLAR GENERATION remains unexposed after just a handful of starts and is worth forgiving his handicap debut in August having been badly hampered mid-race, so he looks worth chancing in an open contest. Veteran Bella Union is feared most after a largely solid spell since the spring with Pralognan also respected with blinkers on first time since his time in France.

Timeform Comments

Jurality
Off the mark on the Flat this summer and went close in 19f handicap at Navan in September, just edged out by Mother Ship late on. Has failed to back that up on both outings since but capable of being involved if able to bounce back, with the step back up in trip in his favour.
Kate Knows Best (IRE)
Won a C&D mares maiden hurdle last season but returns from 5 months off on the back of consecutive heavy falls over fences, so the market should prove informative as to expectations.
Tropical Twist (IRE)
Showed much improved form when winning 14-runner handicap at Wexford (17f) in August and posted best effort since in first-time cheekpieces when 11½ lengths fifth of 16 to Annie's Angel at Fairyhouse last time.
Beat The Devil (IRE)
Modest form in varied events on Flat and yet to offer much in a trio of runs over hurdles, though did at least jump better when mid-division in C&D maiden last time. Handicap hurdle debut.
Pralognan (FR)
Flat/hurdles winner who stepped up on comeback run when fifth in a maiden chase at Downpatrick, finishing with running left after a mixed round of jumping. Not disgraced when 13½ lengths third of 8 to Pahlavi at Downpatrick back over hurdles last time. Blinkers back on.
Home By The Sea (IRE)
Still a maiden but has posted some creditable efforts in defeat this season, though arrives on the back of 2 below-par efforts, failing to stay longer trip at Navan and left down by jumping at Clonmel last time.
Jumble Light (FR)
Modest maiden hurdler who looked rusty on chasing debut here in September on the back of a 7-month absence. Reverts to hurdling now but probably needs further respite from the handicapper.
You Lift Me Up (IRE)
Posted best effort over hurdles when 18 lengths fourth of 12 to Local Resident in maiden at Listowel last time but needs to improve further if he's to make an impact on handicap debut.
Ocean Of Dreams (IRE)
Fair 1m winner on Flat. Posted best effort over hurdles when 12½ lengths eighth of 16 to Bella Union in handicap at Bellewstown in April. Raced closer to the pace than ideal when 25½ lengths sixth of 14 to Boola Times at Wexford last time. Tongue strap removed.
Solar Generation (IRE)
Hinted at ability when mid-division in a trio of maidens but can have handicap debut effort ignored after suffering significant interference. Tongue strap back on and remains open to improvement.
Torque De Lune (IRE)
Showed ability when making the frame both completed starts in maiden hurdles. However, she's made very little impact in handicaps on last 3 starts, backing out of things rather tamely on latest.
Bella Union (IRE)
Made it back-to-back wins when scoring at Downpatrick in May. Good efforts when placed on 2 of his 3 starts since, 4 lengths third of 12 to Cool Summer at Wexford on latest. Should again be thereabouts.
Leitzel
Without a win in 22 starts and has made little impact in 3 outings for current yard.
Tommy Go Maith (IRE)
Remains with little form in various events.
