GOIN’ has been knocking on the door and shaped well from off the pace when third in a Navan handicap last time, so he is taken to open his account, with consistent pair Larkins Lane and Demanding Gerry feared most. Any support for unexposed Magic Hands Noel would also be worth noting.

Timeform Comments

Goin'
Middle-distance winner on Flat (fair form for current yard). Shaped better than the bare result when 4½ lengths third of 16 to Mother Ship in handicap hurdle at Navan last time, left poorly placed and nearest at the finish. Yard is going well at present and high on the shortlist.
You Make Me Smile (IRE)
Course winner who recorded good placed efforts on her first 3 starts over hurdles this season, 6 lengths third of 8 over C&D latterly. Below form at Ballinrobe last month but shaped a bit better back on the Flat last time. Goes minus the visor worn then.
Full Noise (IRE)
Made the frame on both chase starts since returning from a lengthy absence in August, most recently when third behind Driveonwill at Downpatrick. Ran no sort of race back in this sphere last time, though, and needs to bounce back. Cheekpieces back on.
Diaduit Buachaill (IRE)
Showed improved form when 13½ lengths fourth of 19 to Duce Bigalow in 3m handicap at Down Royal in April despite carrying head a bit awkwardly. Back down in trip after 6 months off.
Brother Hollie (IRE)
Placed once from 8 starts over hurdles, though it did at least come at this course. Shaped as if ahead of his mark on chasing bow last time but didn't see out the 21f trip.
Larkins Lane (IRE)
Won at Limerick before following up over C&D in early summer. Advanced her form when a clear second of 16 in handicap hurdle at Kilbeggan last month and then when 1½ lengths third of 20 to At The Wings at Gowran last time. Off a career-high mark but should give another good account of herself.
Demanding Gerry (IRE)
Maiden has finished runner-up 5 times in handicaps, including when 3¾ lengths second of 11 to Mount Shenshan at Clonmel last time. Should again be in the mix.
Emmamia (IRE)
Well beaten all 3 starts in maidens. Steps up in trip on handicap bow.
Clonbury Court (IRE)
Little to shout about in 4 maiden hurdles earlier this year and fared no better making handicap debut on back of 6-month absence.
Mane Attraction (IRE)
Best effort over hurdles when 19 lengths third of 13 to James The Brave in 23f handicap at Killarney last time. More needed.
But What About Me (IRE)
Finished as close as she has when beaten 8 lengths at Ballinrobe on final start for Norman Lee in April 2025. No threat on either start for current yard but step back up in trip may help.
Lariat
Long-standing maiden. Has gone with no encouragement in any of his 3 hurdle starts this season.
Magic Hands Noel (IRE)
Took a step forward (despite being easy to back) when 7 lengths sixth of 16 on handicap debut/return at Navan (19f) last month. Potential for better again over this longer trip and one to take seriously if attracting support.
Dark Berkshire (IRE)
Well-held third at Kilbeggan in June his sole placing from 12 starts. Ran poorly in first-time blinkers (retained) last time.
Angelsworknovrtime (IRE)
Has often run well at this track in the past and has now fallen below last winning mark. Friendless in betting and shaped as if need of run on return 10 days ago but yard is back among the winners and is more than capable of being in the mix if getting a run. RESERVE.
Me Wee Nanny Fran (IRE)
No form. Slipped up early last time. RESERVE.
