STONEY WOOD and From Me To You both contested races that have worked out well last time. Michael Bell's charge is narrowly preferred with Billy Loughnane back in the saddle, while a case can also be made for Ard As A Rock and Hollieisthedollie on the pick of their respective efforts.

Timeform Comments

Ard As A Rock (IRE)
Hasn't kicked on from a promising debut at Newbury (6f) in July. First-time visor on when beaten 3¼ lengths under change of tactics in a course nursery (5f) latest. Will benefit from this ease in grade/step back up in trip, though, and he needs a second look.
Maximus Meridius (IRE)
Produced his best effort when rallying for third on nursery bow at Chepstow (5f) in August. Failed to repeat that effort on either start since, latterly on all-weather debut at Kempton. First-time cheekpieces need to eke out some improvement if he's to capitalise on a handy draw.
Stoney Wood (IRE)
Built on previous all-weather promise when ½-length second in a similar event at Southwell (6f) last time, only caught by an improving closer late on. That form has been well advertised, and he has leading claims to get off the mark.
Holliesthedollie
Improved with her sights lowered when opening account in 6f Windsor nursery (good to soft) in August, well placed and clear of the second who has won twice since. Ran no sort of race in her follow-up bid at Leicester on contrasting ground. Return to this surface could see her get back on track.
Mubehir (IRE)
Didn't get chance to show what he could do (short of room) at Redcar (5f) on second nursery start, having been much shorter than previously in the betting. Has more to him than his form figures might suggest. Not ruled out from a good draw on all-weather bow.
Last Dandelion
Exposed in maiden/novices. Made her belated first run in a nursery a winning one at Bath (6f) last month. That was an ordinary race, though, and more needed from wide draw off 4 lb higher.
From Me To You (IRE)
Best effort when ¾-length third in a course nursery (7f) on penultimate start. Some mitigation for subsequent sixth at Southwell (form worked out well) and return to 6f no issue. Warrants another chance back in slightly calmer waters.
Cydney Sweenie
Pick of her 5 efforts when close third in a C&D maiden second time up in May. Hasn't got competitive on a couple of nursery starts on turf (latterly at Brighton in late-August), though may well be suited by the return to a more conventional track.
Falah Glory (IRE)
Cheap purchase. Ran to a similar level as on 2 previous C&D starts when beaten 4 lengths in a weak 5f maiden here last time. Should be better off for the switch to a nursery (tongue strap added), though hard to be confident he'll find the required improvement from stall 13.
West To Rest
Showed a bit when 1¾ lengths third of 6 in a thin race on qualifying run over C&D. Easy to back/ran too badly to be true switched to a nursery at Southwell (7f) subsequently. Still has some work to do off this sort of mark, regardless.
Time And Effort
Runner-up in 6f Southwell maiden in July. Looked ready for this step back up in trip when 1¼-length fourth in 5f nursery here last time, though needs to pull out more to open her account.
Mistral Madness (IRE)
Related to some useful winners. Brought along steadily in 3 relatively quick-fire novice runs. Entitled to do better now tackling low-grade nursery, with the benefit of a good-value claimer taking over.
Mystic Unicorn
Best effort in novice/maiden company when beaten 4½ lengths under an aggressive ride at Yarmouth (7f) on penultimate start. Stall 12 hardly the ideal draw for a repeat of those tactics, and she seemingly has a bit to find back over 6f on nursery debut.
