Timeform View

Henry de Bromhead took this 12 months ago and looks to have another likely sort in ROCKONLIAM who really impressed when scoring at Wexford last time and can extend his winning sequence to four here. Spectacularsunrise went in at the first time of asking over fences at Perth last month and could emerge as the main danger with better to come, although Palamon arrives at the top of his game and isn't dismissed lightly. Chasing newcomers Lisbane Park and De Temps En Temps need considering too.

Timeform Comments

O'moore Park (IRE)
Winless since 2024 but posted plenty of solid efforts for Willie Mullins last season, including when sixth in the Plate over C&D in March. Last of 3 in conditions event for new yard at Uttoxeter (2m, good) 20 days ago. Can take a step forward back up in trip in a refitted hood.
Spectacularsunrise
Took well to hurdling last season, winning twice over 2m. Overcame some errors to make a successful chasing debut in 5-runner handicap at Perth (2½m, good to soft) 30 days ago. Up 5 lb but scored readily there so not taken lightly.
Rockonliam (IRE)
Progressive over hurdles (scored at Listowel in May) and has made an excellent start in this sphere, again jumping fluently when going 2-2 in 7-runner handicap chase at Wexford (25f, good to soft) in August. Hiked up 11 lb but this versatile sort rates a big player for last year's winning yard.
Sogna In Grande
Won a pair of 21f novice hurdles at Warwick and Wincanton on his first 2 runs before posting a respectable last of 4 in listed novice at Perth (3m) in April. This point winner can't be dismissed now going chasing.
De Temps En Temps (IRE)
Successful over hurdles in 2m Uttoxeter maiden and 2½m novice here last October. Had a breathing operation before ending last season with a very good third of 15 in handicap hurdle at Ascot (19f, good to soft) 8 months ago. Much respected on his chase debut.
Sony Bill (FR)
Useful hurdler for Willie Mullins last season. However, regressed over fences for current yard this season and also came in well held back hurdling in handicap at Chepstow (2m, good to soft) 15 days ago.
As Legends Have It
Bumper winner. Ended last season firmly on the up over fences, landing handicaps at Stratford (23f) and Uttoxeter (2½m) in March. Travelled fluently on latter occasion so needs considering on his return.
Palamon (IRE)
Hasn't looked straightforward on occasions but right back to his best of late, an easy winner at Southwell before second of 5 in handicap chase at Plumpton (2½m, good) 5 days ago when twice impeded. Very much one to consider nudged up 1 lb.
Lisbane Park (IRE)
Cost £110,000 after finishing second in an Irish point and went one better in 2m novice hurdle at Exeter last November. Proved consistent after, best effort when runner-up in novice at Newbury (2m, good) in March. Not out of things starting out in this sphere.
Ballykinlar (IRE)
Fairly useful ex-Irish winning hurdler. Given a considerate introduction to chasing for current yard at Uttoxeter (2m) in June and shaped as if needing the run after 4 months off when third of 4 in handicap chase at Hexham (2½m, good to soft) 2 weeks ago. Possibilities in first-time cheekpieces.
Kahavari (FR)
Fair 19f winner over hurdles in France. Gained a deserved first chasing success (second 3 times previously) for present yard in 4-runner handicap chase at Sandown (2½m, good to firm) in April. No forlorn hope.
