BENGAL TIGER had plenty spare in a soft-ground maiden at Naas recently and can prove too strong for fellow Irish raider Hi Corbett Court. Crystal Queen resumed her progression when second in a competitive nursery at Ayr last month and is next on the list.

Timeform Comments

Bengal Tiger (IRE)
Continued his race-by-race progression when easily landing the odds in 7-runner maiden at Naas (6f, soft) 13 days ago, having the race wrapped up by halfway. Leading claims.
Big Tribe (IRE)
Proved determined when making a winning start to his career in 6f Newcastle maiden 3 weeks ago. Knew his job and will need to step up a fair bit on that form to follow up here.
Hi Corbett Court (IRE)
Showed his opening mark to be very lenient when justifying strong support in impressive fashion at Sligo (6f, good to soft) last August. Improved again when second of 18 in valuable sales race at the Curragh (7f, good to soft) since. Another good run is on the cards.
Angels Passing (IRE)
Built on promising debut fourth in the Marygate at the York Dante meeting when easily taking a small-field maiden at Hamilton 3 weeks later. Not up to the Lowther back at York since but it's still early days.
Big Hitter (IRE)
Came good at the fourth time of asking in a 5f Bath maiden (good to soft) in a first-time tongue tie (retained) 6 weeks ago but more will be needed in this higher grade.
Crystal Queen (IRE)
Confirmed her debut promise when winning the 8-runner Hilary Needler at Beverley (5f, good to firm) in May. No impact in the Queen Mary and Lowther on next 2 outings but got her career back on track when second of 13 in nursery at Ayr (6f, soft) 5 weeks ago.
Elevating
Made it third time lucky in 5f maiden at Sandown in August. Has performed with credit in listed/Group 3 races since but will need to raise her game to win at this level.
Rogue Jewel (IRE)
Mehmas filly who won 6f novice events at York and Ripon during the summer. Second in listed company back at Ripon (6f, good to soft) at the end of August and perhaps the drop to 5f was against her when well held in Cornwallis at Newmarket since.
