Timeform View

SALAM DUBAWI could be worth chancing off a tempting mark back down in class. It Just Takes Time bounced back to winning ways in this headgear at Catterick last week and is second choice, while fellow veteran Quest For Fun should be in the mix again.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Quest For Fun traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

It Just Takes Time (IRE)
Veteran who justified support when bouncing back to form in a first-time visor at Catterick last week and definite contender if the headgear works as well a second time.
Bell Shot (IRE)
Recorded a ninth win of his career at Southwell on New Year's Day. Held his form pretty well since, though overdoing things in front for the second time in 3 outings at Pontefract latest.
Territorial Knight
Plenty of good efforts last season but those have been less frequent this campaign and he seems best away from the mud.
Count Palatine (IRE)
Produced a career best when scoring at Carlisle in August but not been in the same form since and probably doesn't want the ground this testing.
Salam Dubawi
Ex-German who started off well for this yard, scoring at Hamilton in May and good fifth in John Smith's Cup at York (demoted from third for hanging left). In better heart than recent form figures suggest and he's potentially well treated back in calmer waters.
Crown Office
Landed the odds in a decent 6f Leicester maiden (soft) on final juvenile outing. Expensive to follow in handicaps this season, though.
Spy Kingdom (USA)
Successful in a 7f maiden in the Middle East but bought cheaply by new connections and shown nothing in 2 starts for them.
Quest For Fun
Winless (17 runs) since forcing a dead-heat at York last summer. Consistency means he hasn't had much leeway, remaining 3 lb above that winning mark, but he's likely to be thereabouts once more.
Ceo Stealth Mode (IRE)
Looked a good prospect when making a winning start in maiden (8/11) at Sligo (6f, good) for Paddy Twomey in May 2025 but down the field both starts for this yard after 16 months off. No appeal off his opening mark.
Cotai Belle (IRE)
A dual 5f scorer in 2025. Proving notably consistent this season until struggling on heavy ground last time.
Cargin Bhui (IRE)
Dual 6f winner on all-weather earlier this year. Ran his best race on turf for a while when fifth at Pontefract last time but softer ground is a concern.
Beale Street
Scored for the first time away from Newcastle when just holding on over C&D (firm) in June. Off since, however, and record in the mud not great.
Golden Pharaoh (IRE)
Sole win from 26 runs came at Ffos Las (7f, heavy) last autumn. Generally struggled on all-weather early this year and well held in 3 comeback outings recently.
Zarvali (IRE)
Got off the mark in Carlisle novice on seasonal/stable debut in May. Mostly struggled in handicaps since but he caught the eye off his reduced mark at Catterick last week. Soft ground is an unknown.
Trust Amy (IRE)
Chester novice winner last season but has struggled in handicaps this time around.
