This is wide open so it could be worth siding with GLAMOROUS BREEZE who scored on all-weather at Lingfield in 2025 and can capitalise on a handy-looking mark now back on an artificial surface for the first time this season. Almaty Star is feared most on the back of a good Leicester second, although both Bona Fortuna and Moulin Booj can also play a prominent role.

Timeform Comments

Moulin Booj (IRE)
Is enjoying a very good season and gained a third success in 9-runner handicap over C&D 4 weeks ago. Has a career-high mark to overcome but not taken lightly.
Glamorous Breeze
Strong-travelling mare who gained last of her 3 wins in 2025 on all-weather at Lingfield (5f). Not at her best since a good third at Goodwood (5f) in July but handily weighted back on an artificial surface. Interesting.
Night Storm (IRE)
Won at 5f on all-weather both starts late last year. Lightly raced this season and suffered a poor run when sixth of 10 in handicap at Wolverhampton (6f) in July. Not out of things after a break (has been gelded).
Sugar Hill Babe (IRE)
C&D winner who also scored at Nottingham (5f) in May. Off 4 months, fading ninth of 13 in handicap at Redcar (5f, good to soft) 3 weeks ago. Merits consideration with that run under her belt.
Betsen
Resumed winning ways at Chepstow in May. Back to slow-starting ways with ninth of 11 in handicap at Chester (5f, heavy) last time. This course scorer still needs considering.
Rhythm N Hooves
Gained a first victory of 2026 at Newbury in August. Good second of 12 in handicap at Ascot (5f, good to firm) 3 weeks ago. This C&D winner must enter calculations.
Henrythenate
Notched his third 5f handicap win of the year at Chester in August. Only thirteenth of 16 in handicap at Doncaster (5f, good to firm) last time though so bounce back is needed.
Wateen (IRE)
A fair 5f winner for Alice Haynes in 2025. Yet to fire in a trio of runs for current yard but off 3 months before a fading seventh of 10 in handicap over C&D 4 weeks ago. No forlorn hope off a slipping mark.
Almaty Star (IRE)
Made all at Yarmouth (5f) in April. Off 11 weeks, good second of 11 in handicap at Leicester (5f, good to firm) 18 days ago. Can make his presence felt off the same mark.
Bona Fortuna (IRE)
Ended a long losing run on his all-weather debut in 8-runner handicap at Wolverhampton (5f) 26 days ago, just holding on. Can go well again despite 2 lb weights rise.
Shes Got A Brother
Landed a pair of novice events over C&D in April. Her more recent form is far less encouraging, though she had the worst of the draw when ninth of 12 in handicap at Musselburgh (5f, good) last time.
Alondra
Returned to her best to gain a third success of 2026 at Doncaster (5f) in July. Off 13 weeks, last of 12 in handicap at Bath (5f, firm) 25 days ago. Needs to bounce back.
Kanishka (IRE)
In good form without winning over 7f/1m for Brian Ellison in first half of the season. Seemed unsuited by the drop to sprint distances for new yard all 3 runs since. Hard to make a case for.
