SPIRIT OF NATURE didn't get the best of runs when posting a personal best at Newcastle last month and makes plenty of appeal here. Wyvill and Masego are also of interest.

No better than mid-division in 2 bumpers and hasn't offered much in a trio of starts over much shorter trips on the Flat. However, has the potential to do much better now granted a stiffer test of stamina on handicap bow here.
Havachoc
Scored 3 times earlier this year but not been in same form more recently, merely respectable sixth of 12 in handicap over similar trip at Newcastle 29 days ago. Now below last winning mark, though.
Hickton (IRE)
Sole win this year came over C&D in April but been a mixed bag since, well held at Hamilton latest. Others preferred.
Nymphaea
Finally opened her account at Nottingham in June and quickly doubled her tally back there (1¼m) in July. Largely run well since but others look better treated.
Highland Harvey (IRE)
Finally got off the mark in classified event at Yarmouth in July and acquitted himself well in defeat since, making the frame again at Brighton earlier this month. Now tried in blinkers and is likely to be in the mix again.
Masego (IRE)
Responded well to a positive ride when off the mark for John McConnell at Leopardstown in May and made the frame on next 3 starts. Not seen to best effect over hurdles latest and must enter calculations on debut for new yard here.
Raysham (IRE)
Placed in a pair of handicaps over 1¼m last autumn but never involved in a couple of starts earlier this year. Cheekpieces added on debut for new yard and it's hard to know what to expect.
Wyvill
Lightly-raced 3-y-o who has found improvement since sent handicapping, latest when creditable third of 11 over similar trip at Newcastle 35 days ago. Likely contender.
Clipsham Noble (IRE)
Twice a winner at Leicester this season and largely held his form well since. Slow starts becoming an issue, however, and percentage call is to look elsewhere.
Fighting Poet (IRE)
Not scored since summer of last year and found run of good form coming to an end at Wolverhampton last time. Blinkers back on. Work to do.
Spirit Of Nature (IRE)
Posted improved form, switched to all-weather surface, when excellent second of 12 in handicap over similar trip at Newcastle 29 days ago, closing all way to line. 3 lb higher now but he may have more to offer yet.
Lednikov
Landed a sixth victory at this course in March but has rarely threatened the judge since, below form at Wolverhampton last month.
Alkaios
Showed first form since debut when fifth at Lingfield last month and ran to similar level when creditable fifth of 11 in handicap (14/1) at Wolverhampton (1½m) 19 days ago. Each-way claims.
The Ormer Gatherer
Rejoined Mrs A. Malzard when landing handicap at Les Landes (1¼m, good to firm) in June 2025. Never really threatened in a couple of starts for new yard last month, though.
