Timeform View

BRACE FOR LANDING has his sights lowered considerably having finished mid-field in Sandown's Imperial Cup when last seen and can make a winning return on the back of a breathing operation. Order On Time looked a good hurdling prospect when landing a Chepstow bumper in the spring and rates the chief threat with Allfor and Measure of A Man appealing as the pick of the rest.

Timeform Comments

Allfor (IRE)
Promising runner-up on hurdling bow at Ayr (2m) in March but failed to build on it with fourth of 8 in novice there (21f, heavy) following month. Has since had a breathing operation (also tongue tied for first time) and worth another chance.
Brace For Landing (IRE)
Made the frame both starts in France. Best effort for current yard when fifth in 2m Sandown handicap (first-time cheekpieces) in January. Went well long way when tenth of 18 in Imperial Cup there (2m, soft) after. Has since had a breathing operation. The clear form pick here.
Gimarias (IRE)
Easily best of his 4 runs over hurdles when third of 9 in handicap at Bangor (2½m, good) 6 months ago. Needs to build on it on his seasonal return.
Le Roi Remi (FR)
Impressed when making a winning debut in bumper at Sandown last November but failed to build on that promise in bumpers at Kempton and here subsequently, not looking an easy ride when seventh in Grade 2 event on latter occasion. Hurdling debutant.
Order On Time (IRE)
Bought for £200,000 after finishing runner-up on sole start in Irish points. Sent off 6/5 and looked a good prospect when overcoming inexperience to make a winning start in 11-runner bumper at Chepstow (2m, good) in April. Interesting hurdling newcomer.
Petit Galet
33/1, well-held tenth of 12 in bumper at Wincanton (15f, soft) on debut 21 months ago. Hooded for his hurdles debut with his fitness to prove.
The Two Four (IRE)
Westerner gelding. Brother to fair hurdler Saddle Her Up. Dam unraced half-sister to bumper winner/fairly useful 17f hurdle winner Ciandarragh. Runner-up on his only start in Irish points in March but the market can guide for this hurdling newcomer.
Gili Island (IRE)
Well beaten in a couple of Punchestown bumpers for Gordon Elliott early in 2026 but showed some promise for new yard after 6 months off with fourth of 6 in novice hurdle at Chepstow (2m, soft) 2 weeks ago. Can build on it although yard also has Brace For Landing in here.
Measure Of A Man (IRE)
£31,000 4-y-o, Sholokhov gelding. Dam, fairly useful 3m hurdle/chase winner, is a sister to useful hurdler/chaser (stayed 25f) Ten Ten. Runner-up in an Irish point in April so needs considering now going hurdling.
Titi Montmartre (FR)
Montmartre gelding. Half-brother to French 2¼m hurdle winner Jaffarius. Won 4-finisher point in February. Possibilities starting out in this sphere.
