CAHER ROES DEN is on the up since joining Willie Mullins and is fancied to add to his Galway hurdling success and go in at the first time of asking in this sphere. Long Branch rates the pick of those with chasing experience and is next on the list, although Arcland also enters calculations on his fencing debut.

Timeform Comments

Arcland (IRE)
Fairly useful hurdler who scored at Killarney in July. 18/1, good third of 14 in handicap hurdle at Ballinrobe (2¾m, good) last time. Much respected on chase debut.
Caher Roes Den (IRE)
Improved form on just second start for current yard when winning 3m handicap hurdle at Galway in August. Backed it up with an excellent third of 14 at Listowel (3m, good to soft) last month. Very interesting chasing debutant.
Chase The Moon (IRE)
Off the mark over hurdles at Punchestown (22f) in February but off since a below-par ninth in handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse (3m, soft) 6 months ago. Still needs considering now going over fences.
Hesasmoothoperator (IRE)
Modest maiden hurdler. Well beaten on both starts over fences last season and pulled up for new yard reverted to hurdling at Fairyhouse (2m, good) 15 days ago.
King In Love (FR)
Fair 2m winning hurdler. Cheekpieces on for first time when a below-form seventh of 12 in handicap hurdle at Killarney (2½m, good to soft) in May. Makes chase debut.
Kir (FR)
Got off the mark over hurdles at Limerick (3m) last October and advanced his form when third of 16 there after. Disappointed on his last 2 runs though (in cheekpieces on latter occasion) so has a bit to prove going chasing on his first run for 7 months.
Lisnagar Fortune (IRE)
One-time fairly useful hurdler/chaser for Willie Mullins who has made no impact in 3 outings over hurdles for current connections.
Long Branch (IRE)
A fairly useful winner at 22f over hurdles. Shaped well when fourth of 6 in novice here (23f, good to soft) on his debut over fences in May. Likely capable of better and very much one to consider on his return.
Maverick Mack (IRE)
Made a winning start over hurdles at Gowran last November but pulled up in Punchestown handicap in June and came in a well-held sixth of 7 in novice chase at Ballinrobe (23f, good) on debut over fences in August. Cheekpieces go on for first time here.
Mullaghgloss (IRE)
Fairly useful hurdler who won at Thurles (2m) last November. 20/1, shaping with encouragement (held in second) when fell 2 out in novice chase at Gowran (2½m, good to soft) on debut over fences 22 days ago. Can do better.
No Looking Back (IRE)
Fairly useful hurdler. Posted a good second of 9 in handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse (2m, good) 15 days ago. Not out of things on his belated chase debut.
Pat's Legacy (IRE)
Fairly useful winning hurdler. Cheekpieces on for first time when nineteenth of 24 in handicap hurdle at Punchestown (19f, good to soft) in April, racing closer to pace than ideal. No forlorn hope on his first go over fences.
Kelya (FR)
Fair winning hurdler in France in 2024. Hasn't shown a great deal on either start for current connections, including when always behind under considerate handling on her chase debut here (19f, good to soft) in August after a long absence. The market can guide.
