Timeform View

LOUVE D'IRLANDE understandably found the Dawn Run Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival too tough an ask on her debut for Paul Nolan but she had looked promising in France prior to that and is taken to make a winning return. Dunsy Rock has the form to play a big part if rejuvenated after a break, while recent Tramore scorer Baymount also can't be ruled out.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

In a race that lacks confirmed pace-forcers, Baymount could get the run of things: Of the better-fancied horses, Louve D'irlande is most likely to be ridden furthest from the pace.

Timeform Comments

Baymount (IRE)
Free-going sort who left previous hurdling efforts well behind when winning 7-runner novice at Tramore (2½m, good to soft) 17 days ago, making all. Needs considering.
Diamond Tipp (IRE)
Good second in a 2¼m Cork handicap hurdle in August but hasn’t backed that up in 5 starts since. Mark continues to ease, however.
Dunsy Rock (IRE)
Landed a fairly useful maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse (2m, heavy) in February but well below that form both runs since, coming in last of 10 in handicap hurdle at Cartmel (17f, good) in May. Leading form claims if back to her best after a break though.
Louve D'irlande (FR)
Met with defeat only once in France and made a winning start over hurdles at Fontainebleau last October. Faced a stiff task when twentieth of 22 in Dawn Run Mares' Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham (17f, good) on UK debut in March. Remains with potential for new handler.
Somersby Roost (IRE)
Got off the mark over hurdles at Cork (19f) in May but well held since, eighth of 11 in handicap hurdle at Punchestown (2m, good to soft) 12 days ago. Back up in trip with work to do.
Dromana Mist (IRE)
17/2, landed weak 12-runner novice hurdle here (2½m, good to soft) in May. This demands considerably more after a break.
Miss Mini Bee (IRE)
Fourteen runs since her last win in 2023 and she was pulled up in handicap hurdle here (2½m, soft) in April. Needs to hit the ground running on her seasonal return.
