Timeform View

PAYSLIP has shown enough potential to date and can finally open her account at the fourth attempt. Certavi Et Vici outran her huge odds on debut and can prove that was no fluke, while B U Train is an interesting newcomer for a yard who do well with their bumper runners.

Timeform Comments

B U Train (IRE)
Bullet Train mare. Dam (b78), lightly raced in bumpers/over hurdles, half-sister to bumper winner/fairly useful hurdler (2m winner) Getaway Katie Mai. Wears hood. Makes appeal on paper for yard who do well in this sphere.
Back In Favour (IRE)
Point winner who has shown ability in bumpers, including when third over 2½m at Listowel in September. Was beaten by more than the drop back in trip without the hood at Punchestown last time. The headgear makes a quick return.
Better Be Elusive (IRE)
Elusive Pimpernel filly. 125/1, went with little encouragement when eleventh of 17 in bumper at Fairyhouse (2m, soft) on debut. Can only be watched after 10 months off.
Certavi Et Vici (IRE)
Jet Away mare. Showed plenty of ability amidst inexperience when third of 14 in bumper at Listowel (2m, good to soft, 100/1) on debut 30 days ago. Went off a big SP then but the form has been working out OK and has to be taken seriously.
Payslip (IRE)
€20,000 5-y-o, Workforce mare. Runner-up both starts in points and filled the same position on Rules debut when 2 lengths second of 10 to Its Time For A Run in bumper at Downpatrick (19f, good) back in July, having travelled best. The hood now goes on but should step up on that outing.
Slaney Valley (IRE)
Hillstar mare. Made little appeal on paper and was pulled up in mares bumper here on debut in August. Hard to make a case for.
Itsasham (IRE)
Shaman filly. Half-sister to 3 winners on Flat, including 7f winner San Carlos. Dam 7f winner. Flat-bred filly who makes little appeal for such a trip on debut.
Lake Pippaway (IRE)
Getaway filly who is probably better than her 2 sound defeats in bumpers might imply but can probably be passed over until going hurdling.
Lest Ye Forget (IRE)
Time Test filly. Showed a bit when fifth of 9 in bumper (100/1) at Cork (2m, good to soft) on debut in January, proving very green under pressure.
Morning Rose (FR)
It's Gino filly. Half-sister to 7 winners, including fairly useful hurdler/chaser Daring Rose and useful hurdler Christmas Rose. Tongue tied and one to check in the betting on debut.
Socrates Smiled (IRE)
€20,000 3-y-o, Blue Bresil filly. Dam unraced half-sister to useful French hurdler (2¼m/19f winner) Magic Fabien and fairly useful hurdler (stayed 23f) Sandymount. Market best guide.
