CHART TOPPER was unable to reward support on his recent return/chasing debut here earlier in the month but with improvement on the cards, Willie Mullins' 7-y-o could well take some stopping back up in distance. He can get the better of Mint Boy, who returns from a 17-month absence but his yard is back amongst the winners. Will Do looks best of the rest.

Timeform Comments

Chart Topper (FR)
Very useful handicap hurdler who was back on his game when third of 22 at Aintree back in the spring. Shaped as if likely to be better for the run and experience sent chasing after 6 months off when fifth of 8 at this course (2¼m, soft) recently and should leave that bare form well behind.
Da Capo Glory (IRE)
Very useful hurdler at his best who has now been placed on all 4 completed chase starts without looking a natural. Ran poorly returned to hurdling at Cork in the summer but better anticipated back over the larger obstacles.
Lengaruka (FR)
Has made steady progress in his 4 hurdles starts, though didn't get home so well as might have been expected at Navan last month. Has since switched yards ahead of this chasing debut.
Mint Boy (IRE)
Useful novice chaser in 2024/25. Found Irish Grand National (29f) too much of a test at Fairyhouse on final start of that season. Off for 17 months since pulling up in the Mayo National and it'll be some training performance if he can win this off such an absence.
Will Do (IRE)
Useful on his day but isn't one for maximum faith. Ran one of his better recent races when third in novice chase at Listowel (2¾m) latest. Has had plenty of chances so others more appealing for win purposes.
Survivors Sister (IRE)
Fair handicap hurdler who got off the mark at Limerick (21f, heavy) in February. Has become increasingly unreliable, though, and both recent efforts over fences haven't offered much encouragement (fell latest over C&D).
