ONLY FOR OUR MAN showed improved form sent chasing when winning a maiden at Sligo last month, well on top at the finish, and he can continue his progress as he heads into handicap company over fences. He is taken to get the better of Illtakehimmyself, who has made a promising start to his chasing career, with Dgalwaygallivantor also considered.

Timeform Comments

Folly Master (IRE)
Useful chaser who was runner-up twice over hurdles early this year. Inadequate test over 2m when fourth of 13 in handicap chase at Gowran in March, though yard remains without a win since this gelding's victory at Punchestown back in December 2024.
Nine Graces
Ran poorly on first 2 starts last season but returned to form on her final 2 outings, 7¾ lengths third of 7 to Crecora Hills in handicap chase at Punchestown in February. Capable of getting involved if ready to go after 8 months off.
Ma Jacks Hill (IRE)
Made his second chase start a winning one in 2½m novice at Punchestown in June. After a couple of below-par efforts, fared better when second of 5 in novice at Wexford (19f) in August, but wasn't in quite the same form when third of 6 at Gowran (3m). More needed back in a handicap.
Crecora Hills (IRE)
Opened chase account after 9 months off when easily winning handicap at Naas (2½m) in November last year. Improved again when also scoring at Punchestown (2¾m) in February, so she could be in the mix on her return (yard's first runner in 2 months).
Only For Our Man (IRE)
Point winner who opened Rules account in 2¾m handicap hurdle at Down Royal in April under this rider. Made the frame next 4 outings, before making a successful chasing debut in maiden at Sligo (3¼m) 25 days ago. Major player now handicapping with better still to come.
Dgalwaygallivantor (IRE)
Successful on second chase start back in May 2024 and overcame a 14-month absence when landing 24-runner handicap hurdle at Cork (2½m) in December last year. Off again since, but he's one to note back up in trip for handicap chase debut.
Talk In The Park (IRE)
Fairly useful winning hurdler who ran well on several occasions over fences last season without getting his head in front. Low-key start to the current campaign, though in blinkers there were better signs when fourth of 13 at Listowel last month. Task is to build on latest run.
Drumgill (IRE)
Kept busy this season but it's now 15 runs since his last win in November. Never on terms when sixth of 8 in handicap at Cork (2¼m) 2 weeks ago and others more persuasive despite his reduced mark.
Jupiter Du Gite (FR)
Headstrong sort (previously trained by the Moores in Britain) but settling better of late and went close in a pair of handicap hurdles at Killarney this summer. Unsuited by the way the race developed last time and reverts to chasing from a potentially handy mark.
One Last Tango (IRE)
Still looking for a first victory over fences and, with a run over hurdles behind him, was again let down by his jumping when well held in handicap chase at Listowel (2¼m) 5 weeks ago.
Illtakehimmyself (IRE)
Gained reward for a consistent start to the campaign when opening account in 2½m handicap hurdle at Killarney in July. Has shaped promisingly sent chasing in 2 subsequent outings, taking a step forward when second in 14-runner handicap at Listowel (3m) last month. Respected.
