Timeform View

VISION DE MAINE lost his form over fences for David Pipe last season but starts out for Emmet Mullins off a much reduced mark over hurdles so is worth siding with, especially if the market speaks in his favour. Laligurash is feared most on his first go over 3m, while last year's victor Grace Faraday and Lake Okeechobee also need factoring in.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Clash Gold traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 5 starts: Lake Okeechobee traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Grace Faraday (IRE)
Temperamental sort but landed handicap here (2¾m) in September and backed it up with a good second of 7 back here (2¾m, soft). Also took this 12 months ago so very much one to consider in her current form.
Mr Dibbs (IRE)
First-time blinkered when winning 3¼m Sligo handicap for Sam Curling in May. Hasn't been able to replicate that all 3 starts since for current yard, typically producing a mixed round of jumping at Ballinrobe last time. Switched to a visor here.
Boola Times (IRE)
Inconsistent sort overall but he got off the mark when landing 2½m Wexford handicap in August and backed it up with a good third of 14 in handicap hurdle at Cork (19f, good to soft) 15 days ago. Has a first go over 3m now so not out of things.
Shotgun Jack (IRE)
Took this in 2023 as the first leg of an autumn double but winless since and signed off for Patrick Kelly with a poor effort in handicap chase at Limerick (23f, heavy) 10 months ago. Hood goes on and lots to prove for new yard.
Diamond Dollar (IRE)
Fair 19f hurdles/chase winner last winter. Set to finish a good third when falling 2 out in 3m Down Royal chase in January. Not ruled out back hurdling on his return fitted with hood.
Vision De Maine (FR)
Irish point winner/fair 3m chaser who regressed for David Pipe last season. Since joined a very shrewd operation (same ownership) and is on a much reduced mark for his first hurdle start (first go in a handicap) in 2½ years. Needs a close look in the market.
Moonshine Girl (IRE)
Ready winner in first-time blinkers in 2¾m handicap hurdle here in September. Good third of 7 in handicap hurdle back here (2¾m, soft) 20 days ago. New headgear and this is tougher.
Roc My Haarth (IRE)
Maiden over hurdles but made it first time lucky over fences at Clonmel (23f, soft) in April. Not disgraced when sixth of 11 in handicap hurdle at Roscommon (3m, good to soft) 28 days ago. Not ruled out.
Wildhorserider (IRE)
Made the frame both starts in points. Brought along steadily in maidens, hinting at promise with sixth of 12 at Clonmel (2½m, soft) in April. In capable hands, and the type to do better now tackling handicaps.
Madame Masque (FR)
Winning pointer who has finished well down the field on all 4 starts over hurdles, in a first-time tongue strap on handicap debut at Ballinrobe (2¾m, good) in July. Cheekpieces now added.
Clash Gold (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden hurdler. Good fifth of 12 in novice at Ballinrobe (2¾m, good) in August. May do better on her handicap debut upped to 3m.
Elbow Lane (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden. 66/1, seventh of 13 in handicap hurdle at Clonmel (2m) in April. Plenty to find on form but this big step up in trip should suit on pedigree.
Laligurash (IRE)
Lightly raced maiden hurdler. Very good second at Killarney (2½m) in August but failed to build on it with eighth of 17 in steadily-run handicap hurdle at Listowel (2¾m, good to soft) since. Remains one to be interested in with the step up to 3m a plus.
Imperial Tune (IRE)
Maiden hurdler/chaser. Off since falling in handicap hurdle at Kilbeggan (3m, good) in June. Needs to take a step forward.
Silin Alainn (IRE)
Maiden hurdler for Norman Lee in 2024. Off 22 months, still shaped as if in need of the run for new yard when seventh of 13 in handicap hurdle at Gowran (2½m, good to soft) 24 days ago. Tongue strap/cheekpieces go on for first time. Worth a market check.
Lake Okeechobee (IRE)
Low-mileage 5-y-o who posted a good third of 17 in handicap hurdle at Listowel (2¾m, good to soft) 4 weeks ago. Can go well again stepped up to 3m.
Three Tribes (IRE)
Maiden hurdler. Best run over fences with fourth of 15 in handicap chase at Sligo (21f, good) 26 days ago, faring best of those held up. Not ruled out switched to hurdles.
Imbolc (IRE)
Remains a maiden after 18 runs and only twelfth of 19 in handicap hurdle at Down Royal (3m, good to soft) in April. Others appeal more.
Rockon Henry (IRE)
Maiden hurdler. Well-held fourteenth of 18 in handicap here (2¾m, soft) 13 months ago. Cheekpieces go on for first time after a long absence.
Toor Moon (IRE)
Long-standing maiden. Well-held twelfth of 16 in handicap hurdle at Ballinrobe (2¾m, good) in July. Hard to warm to.
Good World (IRE)
Fair handicap hurdler, won at Fairyhouse this time last year. Pulled up at Killarney 3 weeks ago but a couple of good efforts prior to that and can bounce back. RESERVE.
