INCA looks capable of following up his easy Huntingdon win. The dangers are headed by in-form Prairie Diamond, who'll handle any conditions, while God of Fire and Lunar Orbit also merit consideration.

Timeform Comments

Prairie Diamond (IRE)
Ground-versatile sort. Winner of a bumper on debut at this course (1-1). Doubled his tally over hurdles when making all at Wincanton (2½m) in April. Better than ever in 2 starts this season, supported when third at Chepstow (2m) latest. High on the shortlist back up in trip.
Avada Kedavra (IRE)
Made all to get off the mark at Taunton prior to following up with an improved success in a 4-runner Plumpton handicap (25f) in December. Found out in a more competitive race on hat-trick bid at Market Rasen the following month. Back down in grade/trip on return and looks to have a bit to find.
Lunar Orbit (IRE)
Fairly useful on the Flat. Justified support to land a Market Rasen juvenile in December. Ran to a similar level when no match for an improver on first start for Dan Skelton at Newton Abbot (17f) and can have his subsequent run overlooked. Likely type provided he settles for his 3-lb claimer.
Miss Kassiopi
C&D winner on penultimate start for Richard Bandey. Ran no sort of race when bidding for a double on final start for Dan Skelton at Stratford in July. Versatile regards ground but probably a shade high in the weights for new connections.
King Of The Bronx (IRE)
Won a Cork handicap hurdle on final start for Gavin Cromwell in April 2025. Lightly raced since, showing nothing for a couple of new handlers in either code.
God Of Fire (IRE)
Once-useful on the Flat. Made the most of a good opportunity to open his hurdles account at Newton Abbot (2¼m) on comeback in July. Some mitigation for a couple of lesser efforts recently (forced the pace at Stratford latest). Respected back in calmer waters.
Raffles Nobu (FR)
Capitalised on a much reduced mark at Newton Abbot (18.5f) in July. Typically promised more than he delivered when 16½-length fifth of 15 at Chepstow earlier this month. Different rider/headgear to normal when running no sort of race at Stratford (2m) last time. Usual blinkers back on here.
Chillhi (IRE)
Quirky sort. Looks a shadow of the horse that won a Stratford handicap for James Owen last autumn.
Estate Planning (IRE)
Long-standing maiden. Supported to capitalise on his slipping mark when beaten 17 lengths on return at Stratford (2m, good) in June. Remains to be seen if step up in trip proves the key to this tricky customer. Promising conditional booked.
Lord Cauvelliere (FR)
Stratford bumper winner on debut last May. Has gone the wrong way over hurdles, again making hard work of it at Stratford last time.
Inca (FR)
Low-mileage 8-y-o. Confirmed the promise of his stable debut in hugely impressive style at Huntingdon (2½m, good to firm) earlier this month, travelling strongly/winning easily in first-time tongue strap. Can follow up off 9 lb higher, with confidence higher if the worst of the rain stays away.
Charles Morin
Quirky sort who didn't get competitive in 7 starts over hurdles for Pat Phelan. Has given his running in a couple of low-grade handicaps on Flat recently. At least worth noting for each-way support on first start hurdling for present yard (2 lb out of the handicap).
