KAMILLE AU KANADA is fancied to resume winning ways with a comeback run under her belt. Interesting hurdling debutant Jetzet is feared most, with John Galt the pick of the remainder.

Timeform Comments

Fozzy Osbourne
Modest maiden (stays 1m) on the Flat. Hardly looks an obvious type on hurdling debut.
Jetbob (IRE)
Point/hunter chase winner. Had the run of the race/jumped markedly right when no match for hard-held winner in 4-runner Uttoxeter novice on hurdling/stable debut in June. Looks to have plenty on at the weights switched to maiden company.
Kamille Au Kanada (FR)
Winning pointer who hit the frame in a couple of bumpers (including listed race) prior to completing a simple task on hurdling bow at Plumpton in May. Didn't jump fluently when 12-length fifth in a deeper race on return at Chepstow (19f). Better chance at the weights here and worth another chance.
Valenciaga (IRE)
Fair form to reach the frame in a pair of bumpers for John McConnell. Showed ability while again looking a tricky ride when down the field on hurdling debut here (2m) in December. Will probably need the run/experience up in trip on return.
C'est Pour Moi (FR)
Looks far from straightforward. Offered little over 2m in bumper/maiden hurdles. Headgear off for this step up in trip.
Jetzet (IRE)
Expensive buy as a store (grandam closely related to Champion Hurdle winner Jezki). Ran to a similar level when third in a pair of bumpers last spring. Yard knows the time of day, and he could well be capable of better now sent hurdling over a longer trip.
John Galt (FR)
Fair (quirky) sort on the Flat. Ran to a similar level when third in a thin maiden at Newton Abbot on hurdling bow. Didn't seem to have learned much when well-held fifth at Sedgefield latest. Cheekpieces now fitted for first time over jumps (wore for sole Flat success), which could sharpen him up.
Theybouncewell (IRE)
€18,000 3-y-o, Old Persian filly. Half-sister to fairly useful hurdle winner/smart chaser Touch Me Not and fair chaser Lost Connections. Dam (h76) winning pointer/maiden hurdler (stayed 2½m). Enough in her pedigree to warrant a market check on racecourse bow.
