Well-related OUR WEE HORSE made a bright start over hurdles and may be able to make his experience count. Hurdling debutant Poetry of Time is likely to be a serious threat if running to something like his Flat form. Meritocratic appeals most of the rest.

Timeform Comments

Just Call Me Mo
Showed nothing in a couple of hurdle starts this summer.
Meritocratic (IRE)
Flat maiden posted a fair effort when well-backed third under a positive ride at Wolverhampton on latest start. Excellent yard looks to be figuring him out (previously less than straightforward) and has to be respected on hurdling debut in a thin race.
Our Wee Horse (IRE)
Vadamos gelding. Closely related to fairly useful hurdler/very smart chaser Thunder Rock. Showed plenty to work on when 6-length second in a similar event on debut at Fontwell (2¼m). In the right hands to improve and could well make his experience/stamina count against Flat-bred rivals.
Poetry Of Time
Progressive son of Ulysses. Won his last 2 starts on the Flat for William Haggas, latterly on handicap bow at Chepstow in June. Subsequently sold for 100,000gns (new yard without a jumps winner since the spring) and has the strongest Flat form of the hurdling debutants.
Solar Jet (IRE)
Failed to beat a rival in pair of Flat maidens for John O'Donoghue. Pulled up on hurdling debut at Chepstow (2m, 300/1) earlier this month. Likely a handicap project for top yard. Engaged 1.35 Market Rasen Sunday.
Stepanov (IRE)
Fair middle-distance maiden who finished runner-up on 3 of 6 starts for Ed Bethell, latterly in handicap at Hamilton (11f) in June. Sold for 30,000 gns the following month and in capable hands for his hurdling debut.
Aukus (IRE)
Fair Australia filly (best effort at 1¼m) who went the wrong way for Ralph Beckett this summer. Has at least joined a top yard ahead of her hurdling debut.
Echo Valley
Kameko filly. Dam, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler (stayed 2¼m) Whimsy. Hasn't bettered modest form on the Flat (probably stays 2m) and may prove vulnerable to classier types on hurdling bow.
Here I Bow (FR)
Long way below her fairly useful French form on the Flat (stays 7f) for Oli Rix this summer. Sold cheaply out of that yard last month and plenty to prove with a hood added to the mix on hurdling debut.
Miss Pretty
Masar filly. Dam half-sister to fairly useful hurdler (stays 2¼m) Chortal. Fair all-weather winner (stays 1¼m) who was sold cheaply out of the Edward Smyth-Osbourne yard on the back of an underwhelming summer. Cheekpieces retained for hurdling debut and easy to make a stronger case for others.
