ROGUE CONSTELATION showed plenty to work on when third behind the now useful winner at Ayr 5 weeks ago and is the one to beat. Oliver Cole has a decent bunch of 2-y-os this year so debutant Giant of Old could offer most resistance.

Timeform Comments

Al Mhalhel (IRE)
Foaled February 8. 18,000 gns yearling, 65,000 gns 2-y-o, Starman colt. Half-brother to several winners, including useful/ungenuine winner around 6f Admiral D and French 1m-1¼m winner Ascot Grey. Yard typically campaigns its juveniles with the longer term in mind.
Corbie Rock (IRE)
Dark Angel colt. Dam 2-y-o 5f-6f winner. Much better for debut when fifth of 7 in maiden at Catterick, though off the bridle a long way out and beaten 7 lengths. Has since been gelded.
Cracking Toast
Well beaten in 3 novices.
Giant Of Old (IRE)
Foaled April 27. €100,000 foal, 75,000 gns yearling, Churchill colt. Closely related to useful 2-y-o 6f/7f winner Hikmaa and half-brother to 3 winners, including useful 5f-7f winner Germanic. Dam unraced. Yard 2-13 with 2-y-o newcomers this season.
Glimmer
Foaled January 19. Twilight Son gelding. Dam unraced. Yard 0-3 with 2-y-o newcomers this season (all well held).
If You Like (FR)
€140,000 Earthlight colt. Green when trailing the field on debut at Yarmouth (6f, 22/1 good) 6 weeks ago.
Rogue Constelation (IRE)
£95,000 yearling, Starman colt. Dam 9f winner out of useful 2-y-o 7f winner Sense of Joy. Promising third of 5 in novice at Ayr (7f, heavy) on debut 37 days ago, green and not knocked about (winner has since boosted the form). Sets a clear standard.
