Timeform View

A repeat of SUMMER EVENING's recent Ffos Las second might be enough to see her get off the mark in a thin race. Muhib can make the placings back at this more suitable trip, with Dinah Myte perhaps making most appeal of the remainder.

Timeform Comments

Revich (IRE)
Once-useful veteran is no longer the force of old but has largely been in reasonable form this season up until a couple of below-par efforts on his last 2 starts. Goes back up in trip with cheekpieces reapplied.
Little Tiger
C&D winner who again ran well on form but only having looked lethargic for some way when second of 9 over C&D (good) last month but showed no enthusiasm when down the field in another C&D event 2 weeks ago. Cheekpieces back on.
Dinah Myte
Recorded a third career win over C&D in September. Creditable fifth of 10 in handicap at Newcastle (1¼m) at the start of this month but struggled to make much of an impact up in grade at Kempton last month. This is more realistic.
Six Blue
Offered little in a trio of bumpers and hasn't kicked on from her more encouraging effort on Flat debut in March, finishing down the field in all-weather handicaps of late. Makes turf debut.
City Escape (IRE)
Dual scorer in 2025 who bounced back to winning ways when taking 10-runner classified event over this trip at Ffos Las (good) in August. Not disgraced considering she completely missed the kick when fourth of 9 in handicap at that same C&D last time but others make more appeal for win purposes.
Westender
Typically given patient approach by his yard, no better than seventh in his qualifying runs spread out over a year. Handicaps a lot more suitable and market will be informative.
Red Derek
Hasn't scored since 2022 and though he belatedly showed he retains a modicum of ability when eighth of 11 in handicap (33/1) at Haydock (11.6f, good to soft) 53 days ago, he's unlikely to end that losing streak.
Lady Kameko
Remains winless following 13 attempts and was badly out of form when last seen in March. Easy to oppose after 7 months off.
Miss Mambo (IRE)
Ran well when second of 10 at Southwell (1m) in early-August but performed a shade below that level when fourth of 12 at Wolverhampton (8.6f) the following month. Found her run of good form coming to halt at Kempton last time and regular blinkers are back on for the visor.
Luminous Approach (IRE)
Back on track when seventh of 12 in handicap at Kempton (11f, 22/1) 47 days ago but hasn't looked especially progressive in this company and others make more appeal.
Summer Evening (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who ran about as well as she ever has when second of 9 at Ffos Las (1¼m, soft) last month. Nudged up 2 lb for that near miss and holds strong claims if backing that up.
Elora Prince (IRE)
Finally got off the mark back in a handicap in 6-runner event at Chepstow (1¼m, soft) just over 3 weeks ago, responding well to the refitting of cheekpieces and a positive ride. Bit below that level when fifth of 9 in handicap at Ffos Las (1¼m, soft) last time, though.
Diamond Ali
Posted career best when narrowly winning 12-runner handicap at Windsor (1m, good to soft) in June but not in the same form at Ffos Las and Yarmouth since. Steps up in trip here.
Muhib
Long-standing maiden but has made the frame on numerous occasions this year, most recently when fourth of 12 at Thirsk (1½m) last month. Shaped like a non-stayer upped to 2m at Catterick last time and he holds place claims again back down in trip.
Twilight Guest
Recorded a hat-trick last season. Not in the same form this campaign, though did produce one of his better recent efforts when fourth of 11 in handicap at Brighton (1¼m, good to soft) 11 days ago.
Trackman
Remains a maiden after 23 runs and not much more promise in a trio of runs over hurdles this summer. Opposable after 96 days off.
Victorian Rose (FR)
Tailed off on all 3 of her starts in novice/maiden company but did shape as if amiss on handicap debut at Yarmouth last time. Goes significantly up in trip in a hood/tongue strap.
