Fallen long way in the weights since last season's success in Golden Mile at Glorious Goodwood. Found some form when making it back-to-back seconds in handicaps at Epsom/Haydock in August and September but below form on his last 2 outings. Down in grade now.
Dannick
Took a while to get off the mark but doubled his tally at Lingfield (1m) in August. Has backed that up with a pair of good second-placed efforts at Ascot, the latter coming under a very inexperienced rider. Now has good-value claimer aboard, so is a leading player having been nudged up 1 lb.
Milteye
Ground-versatile 6-y-o. Patchy form this season but took a step back in right direction in refitted headgear when sixth of 10 in handicap at Haydock (1m, heavy) 10 days ago and remains feasibly treated on the pick of his form.
Bold Impact (IRE)
Doubled his tally at Windsor (1m) in July. Back on track with third of 14 in handicap at Newmarket (9f, good to firm) last month and shaped as if still in good form under a delayed challenge when fifth of 18 in handicap at Ascot (7f, good to firm, 12/1) 24 days ago.
Marsh Benham (IRE)
Temperamental sort but he doubled his tally for the season at Epsom (8.5f) in September and has produced a couple of solid efforts on his last 2 starts, most recently when third of 10 in handicap (33/1) at Kempton (1m) 17 days ago.
Between Me And U
Better than ever when completing a hat-trick at Carlisle in August and ran respectably having been upped to this career-high mark when third of 9 in handicap at Wolverhampton (7f, 5/2) 24 days ago. Solid place claims again.
Dream Pirate
Registered his first all-weather success at Lingfield in January and sprung a surprise back from a 5-month break when winning a 9-runner handicap at this C&D (good) 13 days ago. Has tended to struggle from marks in the 70s, though, so a career best is likely needed.
Tele Red
In fine form in the mud last autumn, scoring at Pontefract just over a year ago. Made an encouraging return when fourth of 11 at Beverley (8.5f, heavy) in August but not in same form when on either outing since.
West Byfleet
Fair form when runner-up in 1m Goodwood maiden in May but below that level in a couple of similar races after. Gelded ahead of his handicap debut earlier this month but failed to take a step forward and more will be required here.
Magic Box (IRE)
Twice a winner last year and has recaptured a bit of form of late, third at Kempton on her first try at this trip earlier this month before backing that up with a good second of 10 in handicap at Nottingham (8.3f, good to soft) 12 days ago.
