A fair 7f scorer (albeit not straightforward) for Hugo Palmer who signed off for that yard with a good third at Wetherby in June. Not in same form in 4 starts for this stable and regular headgear is now reapplied.
Sonbelievable
Very little promise in qualifying runs but was much improved switch to handicap company when third of 11 at this C&D (10/3) 11 days ago. A repeat of that should see him go close from unchanged mark.
Whazzimo
Hinted at promise on her first 3 runs but only ninth of 10 on handicap debut at Lingfield (1m, all-weather) in July on final run for James Ferguson. Needs this yard switch to spark progress.
Able Astra (IRE)
Took a small step forward when third of 13 in handicap (16/1) at this C&D 11 days ago, unable to sustain her effort only late on. Remains somewhat unexposed and she's on the shortlist.
Demetris Mouflon
Ran her best race dropped to this grade for the first time when second at Leicester in June, finding only the well-backed favourite too strong having made the running. Player if ready after 140-day break.
Neat And Tidy
Has little solid form to her name and recent effort having left Richard Hughes cheaply wasn't encouraging.
Leia Antilles (IRE)
Has hinted at temperament but produced her most encouraging effort to date when second of 10 in handicap at Kempton (7f) 21 days ago. Needs to back that up.
Savvi Row
Seemed to excel himself when fifth of 7 in maiden at Kempton (6f) 14 days ago but that doesn't look particularly solid form and others make greater appeal back in a handicap.
Yesnia (IRE)
Down the field in 3 all-weather starts in Ireland for Ross O'Sullivan last year and no obvious signs of improvement in 3 outings for new yard. Longer trip should suit at least after 137 days off.
Twilight Dawn
Didn't show much as a 2-y-o but more like it when placed in 2 handicaps at Redcar in the summer. Lesser effort in classified races at Newcastle and Catterick since, though.
Mariselle (IRE)
Plugged on into a never-dangerous seventh of 13 in handicap at this C&D 11 days ago. Others preferred with cheekpieces on 1st time.
Honey Dale (IRE)
Failed to better poor form in Ireland for P. Mulligan. Likely only of interest if market speaks positively having changed hands for 1,800 gns.
