Timeform View

KINNALARGY is worth a chance to build on quite a promising first run for the David O'Meara yard at Newcastle a fortnight ago. Riley Rocks went up 10 lb for his latest C&D success but should still be capable of a bold bid at a venue which suits. Overbudget is another who very much knows where the winning post is at this venue.

Timeform Comments

Riley Rocks
Second C&D handicap success of the year when easily seeing off 7 rivals 16 days ago. That's resulted in a 10 lb rise but he still merits plenty of respect.
Kinnalargy
First run since leaving Kevin Ryan when respectable fifth of 12 in handicap (3/1) at Newcastle (6f) 14 days ago. Well handicapped and given a chance to build on that with the booking of Tom Marquand taking the eye.
Horace Wallace
In excellent form since visored, winning 6f handicaps on all-weather at Lingfield and Wolverhampton. Even better form when only narrowly denied on hat-trick bid over C&D 23 days ago. Should go well again.
Dark Angel Light (IRE)
Stepped forward markedly from debut to land 8-runner novice at Doncaster (6f, firm) in June on final run for Jack Channon. Too free when last of 7 on 6f Newcastle handicap debut for new stable 7 weeks ago. Early days but needs to leave that behind now.
Tip Foster
Built on debut promise to gamely land 10-runner maiden at Thirsk (7f) in June. Has disappointed in a couple of handicaps on heavy ground since returning from a break and swithces to all-weather with a point to prove.
Rumble Ruby
Scored at Beverley and close third at Yarmouth (both 5f) in quick succession in August. Not in the form on her last 2 outings, though.
Hallandale Beach
Got off the mark in Chepstow handicap (6f, good to firm) in June. Third of 4 back there in August. Off since (has been gelded) but the booking of Loughnane takes the eye back on all-weather.
Overbudget (IRE)
On a hat-trick after a pair of C&D wins from the front this autumn. Showed a good attitude last time and can go well on the hat-trick bid.
Cosmic Clarets (IRE)
Fair maiden for Richard & Peter Fahey. Ran up to best when second of 10 on 6f Wolverhampton yard debut in September. Went off too hard over 7f since so the return to 6f looks a good move.
