Timeform View

PROCYON shaped well under a considerate ride when a debut third at Newmarket and can take a fair step forward to thwart Olympiacos who rates the pick of these on form. Arctic Force, Sayaarr and Raguel appeal as the pick of the rest for minor honours.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Procyon traded at a low of 10.50 and Betfair SP of 22.84 when losing last time, a race in which it raced in mid-field.

Timeform Comments

Arctic Force (IRE)
Sent off 4/1 but looked green when sixth of 7 in novice at Doncaster (7f, firm) on debut in July, not knocked about. This Night Of Thunder colt should have a fair bit more to offer after a break.
Binksy Boy (IRE)
Last of 13 in novice at Newcastle (7f) on debut 31 days ago. Lots more is required from this Soldier's Call gelding.
Eagles Eternal (IRE)
80/1 and hooded, looked green when last of 7 in novice at Nottingham (5f, good to soft) on debut 12 days ago. This Gleneagles colt should be better for the experience.
Hal'way The Lads (IRE)
Foaled March 19. €29,000 foal, €72,000 yearling, Minzaal colt. Half-brother to 3 winners, including useful 1¼m-1½m winner Pin Your Hopes and useful 7f/1m winner Carolus Magnus. The market can guide for this newcomer.
Leabank (IRE)
100/1 and hooded, looked very much in need of the experience when sixth of 7 in novice over C&D (good to soft) on debut 23 days ago. This son of Sioux Nation can do better in due course.
Olympiacos (FR)
Wootton Bassett colt built on debut when third of 7 in novice at Yarmouth (7f, good) 14 days ago. Can do better still so rates a player.
Procyon (IRE)
Mehmas colt fetched €470,000 as a yearling and he made a promising start when third of 4 in maiden at Newmarket (7f, good to firm) 23 days ago, running on late without being knocked about. Sure to improve and merits serious consideration.
Raguel
Foaled May 4. Harry Angel colt. Half-brother to very smart winner up to 7f Shaquille and 7f winner On Key. A considered newcomer, especially if the betting speaks in his favour.
Sayaarr (IRE)
Dark Angel colt was very green when ninth of 13 in 7f maiden at Southwell (22/1) on his debut 20 days ago, slowly away. Should improve for a fair bit for the initial experience.
Here's To It (IRE)
Encouraging debut fourth in 7f Redcar seller in August but came in last of 10 in novice at Ayr (1m, soft) last month. Needs to bounce back.
Lady Mombasa (IRE)
Foaled March 9. £7,000 yearling, Profitable filly. Sister to German 7f winner Sunshine Mag and half-sister to winner up to 6f The Thin Blue Line. Dam ran 3 times in France.
