Timeform View

PALINCA ran out a 10-length winner on her only outing in points before fetching a cool £400,000 at the Cheltenham Festival Sale. She could be well placed to make a successful start under Rules for Henry de Bromhead. Dooks has more to offer over hurdles, while Brady Hartsfield is another to note on her first go in this sphere.

Timeform Comments

Timandi (IRE)
Fair Flat winner over 1½m. Hood fitted for hurdles debut and suspect she'll have her work cut out.
Brady Hartsfield (IRE)
Runner-up first 2 starts in bumpers (in listed race at Limerick second occasion). Should have a future over jumps.
Don't Hold Back (IRE)
Failed to complete in a pair of points in March. Hood goes on for hurdles debut. One of 3 runners for stable.
Dooks (IRE)
Struggled in a valuable Punchestown bumper when last seen but had previously shaped with promise in juvenile maiden hurdle at Clonmel. Should have more to offer 6 months on.
Drom Col Choille (IRE)
Half-brother to winning hurdler Fanoir (stayed 2½m) and winning hurdler/chaser Whatsyourstatus (stayed 29f). Dam unraced half-sister to fairly useful chaser (stayed 3m) Mr Chow and fairly useful hurdler (2½m/21f winner) Minella Special). Hooded for debut and suspect he'll need more time.
East Wall (IRE)
Berkshire gelding. Dam (c107/h111) 21f hurdle winner. Yard did well in maiden hurdles at this meeting last year (won this race among others).
Midnight Reign (IRE)
Bred for jumping but was never a threat on debut at Listowel 5 weeks ago.
Soleil D'aure (FR)
Elm Park gelding. Half-brother to 3 winners, including smart hurdler Zarak The Brave. Failed to meet expectations only start in points and was well beaten on recent bumper debut at Punchestown. Hood and tongue strap go on now hurdling.
Storm Bresie
€40,000 buy. Maiden pointer. Never better than mid-field on hurdling debut.
Vinted Vinnie (IRE)
Pillar Coral gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to useful hurdler (stayed 21f) Getoutwhenyoucan.
Walkwithmyfriend (IRE)
Made frame sole start in points and has shown a fair bit in a couple of bumpers.
Palinca (FR)
Half-sister to fairly useful chaser Shokdor (17f winner, by Seabhac) and fair hurdler/fairly useful chaser Heros (2¼m winner, by Voiladenuo), from the family of very smart hurdler (17f-19f winner) Baan Rim Pa. Easy winner sole outing in points (Mar 8) and fetched £400,000 after. Obvious appeal.
Pink Sheet Pony (IRE)
Little promise in Dundalk maiden a year ago.
Rightly Snookered (IRE)
€2,000 3-y-o, Vadamos filly. Half-sister to 3 winners, including useful hurdler/chaser Mint Boy and useful hurdler/chaser West Cork Wildway.
Trinity Belle (IRE)
Well-held last of 4 finishers sole outing in points (Apr 26). RESERVE.
Gregwell (IRE)
Tirwanako gelding. Half-brother to poor hurdler/chaser Watchoutitscookie (2½m-23f winner). Dam, little impact over hurdles, sister to useful chaser who became ungenuine (stayed 3¾m) Straidnahanna. Bred to need further down the line. RESERVE.
