There should be plenty more to come from QUEEN MAEVE this season and sure to be well prepared for this reappearance with this trip another plus, she makes lots of appeal. Crystal Spring and I Spy A Diva are feared most.

Timeform Comments

Betty's Daisy
Warwick bumper scorer who left her opening effort over hurdles well behind when landing 12-runner novice at Ludlow in December. Cracking second under a penalty at Warwick a month later but big backward step when pulled up on handicap debut in March. Has had a breathing operation.
Analiese
Forward-going type who underlined a marked improvement in attitude/reliability when landing a third mares' handicap win at Chepstow in March. Well-held fourth off this mark in an end-of-season event at Haydock but will handle conditions ahead of reappearance.
Masked Dance (FR)
Resumed winning ways at Ludlow in December and good efforts when runner-up there next 2 outings. Handicapper seemingly had her measure when mid-field both outings in the spring, though.
I Spy A Diva
Four-time winner over hurdles who confirmed her return to form when third in 8-runner handicap at Windsor (2½m, good) on New Year's Day. Reappears from a break off a 2 lb lower mark and shouldn't be taken lightly with yard adept at readying inmates after a break.
Edith Pelham
Point/bumper winner who got off the mark at the fourth attempt in this sphere in novice at Southwell in March, overcoming a bad mistake at the last. Allotted a stiff-enough mark on the back of it and pitched in deep (with cheekpieces fitted) she was mid-field at Newbury. This is easier on return.
Hornica (IRE)
Made the most of a good opportunity when off the mark in 13-runner mares' maiden at Stratford in April (2m). That isn't form to be getting carried away with but she's in very good hands and now goes up in distance on the back of a breathing operation.
Iamyouare (IRE)
Well served by return to further when bolting up in 8-runner handicap hurdle at Hereford (2½m, good) in April. Runner-up twice since and fitted with cheekpieces, she didn't need to improve to double her tally at Southwell 4 weeks ago. More is required here.
Crystal Spring (IRE)
Confirmed previous promise to win Huntingdon maiden hurdle on return from 5 months off in October 2025. Runner-up effort on handicap debut at Exeter soon after worked out well and she returns from 10 months for a yard in excellent order.
Hot Goddess (IRE)
Has never stood much racing but ran up to her best when second of 5 in handicap hurdle at Sandown (2½m, soft) in January. Off since but reappears for stable among the winners.
Queen Maeve (IRE)
Ignored in the betting (compared to stablemate) but much improved when making a winning handicap debut at Sandown in April (2m). Should be more to come this season, particularly as her stamina is drawn out. Looks the one to beat.
Laysoft (IRE)
Landed junior bumper at Huntingdon in November and finished placed first 3 starts over hurdles, albeit out of her depth when remote third in a fillies' listed juvenile event at Doncaster. Failed to land a blow from a stiff opening mark at Wetherby in February.
