INEDIT D'AMOUR finished ahead of a pair of next-time out winners when second on his return to fences 3 weeks ago and he looks the answer. Laristote and Riviera Walk are feared most tackling larger obstacles for the first time.

Timeform Comments

Inedit D'amour (FR)
French recruit (runner-up over fences) who made it third time lucky for Donald McCain in 2m Catterick maiden hurdle on New Year's Day. Didn't send the season in much form over hurdles but excellent return to the larger obstacles when second at Uttoxeter, finishing ahead of 2 next-time-out winners.
Locquirec (FR)
Made the frame all 3 starts over hurdles in France for Francois Nicolle but below that level so far for present yard. Switched to fences for season return with cheekpieces on having had a breathing operation.
Riviera Walk (IRE)
Bumper winner who confirmed previous promise when easily landing a Catterick mares' novice in March. Failed to complete both starts later in the spring and now has attentions switched to chasing.
Falco Des Pins (FR)
Capitalised on a falling mark with something to spare at Ludlow (2m) in February and followed up in similarly comfortable fashion at Leicester. Didn't do a lot wrong when coming up just short in hat-trick bid but no surprise were he to just need this.
Air Apparent (IRE)
Improved third in 2½m Hereford maiden in March. Didn't seem to get home over 3m at Ffos Las soon after and this trip more suitable on reappearance/chase debut.
Laristote (FR)
Held every chance when falling at the last sole outing in Irish points and positives to draw from 4 runs under Rules last season, third at this track in April. Fences could see him improve again.
Grain Trade
Strong-travelling sort who scored on second chase outing at Market Rasen (19f) a year ago and had the race at his mercy when falling next time. Jumping issues have resurfaced since and needs things to drop right given hold-up tactics. Has had a breathing operation.
Masterfield (FR)
Not disgraced in bumpers and showed much more than on hurdling debut when third in a 17f course handicap in May. Makes a quick switch to fences for handicap debut.
Ker D'oudairies (FR)
Limited impact over hurdles but entitled to come on for recent reappearance ahead of chasing debut. 4 lb out of the weights.
