Saisons D'or (IRE)
Veteran who won at Southwell (7f) in April and got back to that sort of form under positive tactics when 3¼ lengths second of 11 to Ridger in handicap over C&D (15/2) 29 days ago. Each-way claims.
Venetian Romance (IRE)
Second over 7f at Brighton in June but well held in 3 outings for new stable since.
Ridger (IRE)
Improved to open his account in clear-cut fashion over C&D last month and made short work of a penalty in 10-runner handicap at Kempton since. 5 lb rise far from insurmountable and is a must for any shortlist.
Sailor Batt (IRE)
Started the year well making the frame 3 times but hasn't been in quite same form more recently. Work to do.
Zabriskie Point
Placed on 3 occasions this year, latest when third of 14 at Bellewstown (1m) last month. Yard's runners always command respect in Britain. Tongue strap on for first time.
Mini Mac (IRE)
On a long losing run but has tumbled down the weights and must be of interest on debut for James Owen here.
Macs Dilemma (IRE)
Not successful since 2023 but showed he retains ability, back from 13 months off, when fifth of 11 in handicap over C&D 29 days ago. Others look better treated, though.
Maury (IRE)
Returned to form when runner-up at Kempton earlier this month but couldn't build on that at Southwell since. Others more convincing.
