Timeform View

MUDYRK left his debut form well behind when runner-up to a now-useful type at Fairyhouse in June and he is taken to go one better after a break. The main dangers could be Golden Idol and Tantardini, who both showed encouragement first time out and are potential improvers for their respected yards.

Timeform Comments

Bridgetown Boy (FR)
Foaled May 13. €40,000 yearling, Siyouni colt. Half-brother to 3 winners, including 2-y-o 1m winner Grace Period and 1m/8.4f winner Bright Millie. Trainer's first 2-y-o runner of the season.
Chicago Caray
Making his first start, was very much in need of the experience when eighth of 14 in maiden over this C&D 19 days ago, slowly away and never involved. This run should reveal more.
Courtier (IRE)
Offered little on debut when last of 12 in maiden at Gowran (1m) in September. Looks to be up against it.
Dramatic Approach (IRE)
Yard has had success with this family, but he was very green first time up when eleventh of 14 in maiden at Thurles (8.5f) 20 days ago. Will need to have learnt a lot from that first outing.
Eucalyptus (USA)
Foaled April 8. Mckinzie colt. Half-brother to high-class 1m-10.3f winner Passenger and a winner in Italy. Noteworthy newcomer for his much respected yard.
Golden Idol (IRE)
Shaped encouragingly on debut when third of 13 in maiden at the Curragh a month ago, travelling smoothly through the race. Yard's juveniles often step forward plenty from their first run, so he enters calculations.
Jacob's Journey (IRE)
Showed promise amidst greenness when staying on for second in 14-runner in maiden over this C&D on debut 19 days ago, albeit no match for the winner. Open to improvement with that experience behind him.
Mudyrk (IRE)
Much improved from debut when second of 9 in minor event at Fairyhouse in June, pulling clear of the rest. Off since but the form from last time has worked out very well (winner has made the frame twice at the highest level). Leading contender.
Quinn Blue (IRE)
Made some appeal on paper but didn't go with much promise on debut when seventh of 8 in maiden at Down Royal (5f) in June. Goes significantly up in trip as he returns from 4 months off.
Raygani (IRE)
Has finished well held in 2 maidens at Naas this autumn, failing to improve upped to 1m when sixteenth of 18 on latest outing. Looks one for the longer term.
Tantardini (USA)
From a family that the yard knows well, looked badly in need of the experience when fourth of 10 in maiden at Navan (6f) on debut in May. No surprise to see him leave that effort behind as he goes up in trip.
