Successful in the 2022 Cambridgeshire but has not won in Britain since and ran a shocker on a rare outing on all-weather here latest.
Forever Penywern
Resumed winning ways at Southwell in July and lost little in defeat when third over C&D next time. Shaped as if the outing would do him good back from a break here since and better anticipated this time.
Almekarem (IRE)
Headstrong sort. Back on the up when scoring at Doncaster (runner-up won next time). Not in same form next 2 starts, though wasn't best placed after another slow start at York 18 days ago. Pulled too hard when previously tried over this trip.
Thinthread
Dual winner around 9f in France for Andre Fabre. Showed some promise on first 2 runs for new yard this summer but hasn't kicked on.
Blue Hercules (IRE)
Free-going maiden who posted a couple of decent efforts at Ascot this summer. However, ran poorly at Newmarket last time and first-time headgear could set him alight even more.
Youthful King
Successful from a 10 lb higher mark at Sandown last season but he's been out of form for over a year now.
Winged One (IRE)
Left debut well behind when winning Newcastle around this time last year. Yet to build on that on turf this season but not written off returned to all-weather.

Confirmed previous promise when impressive winner over C&D 19 days ago and good chance he can kick on again having worked his way back from a lengthy lay-off this season.
Brighton View
Made a winning handicap debut at Newbury (1¼m) in May and landed the odds in 3-runner contest at Yarmouth in August. Run of good form came to an end at Nottingham last time, though that was on soft going.
Imperial Cult (IRE)
Made it 3 wins from 4 starts for George Baker at Sandown in July. Might have found next run coming too soon 6 days later and off since, changing yards in the meantime.
