BLAKE posted an excellent second at Punchestown when last seen in this sphere in the spring and on the back of a promising reappearance eighth on the Flat in the Irish Cesarewitch he gets the nod. Gordon Elliott has captured the last 5 runnings of this though and his Mange Tout (the choice of Jack Kennedy) and El Cairos rate big threats.

Very useful hurdler who doubled his tally in 5-runner listed hurdle at Gowran (2m, good to soft) 27 days ago by 8½ lengths from Gaucher. Must enter calculations for stable that has fine record in this event.
Heads Up
Useful hurdler. Landed listed event at Punchestown in February but pulled up in Hardy Eustace Hurdle at Fairyhouse (2m, soft) in April. This is no easy ask on his return.
Mange Tout (FR)
Half-sister to Grade 1 winning hurdler/chaser Impaire Et Passe. C&D scorer who made it 4-5 in 10-runner Anniversary Hurdle at Aintree (17f, good to soft) in April. Player for yard that has taken past 5 runnings of this with Jack Kennedy up.

C&D winner. Best run in this sphere when an excellent second in handicap at Punchestown (2m, good to soft) in April. Promising return from 5 months off when eighth of 30 in Irish Cesarewitch on Flat at the Curragh last month. Big shout.

Very useful hurdler. 4/1, creditable sixth of 15 in handicap hurdle at Listowel (2m, good to soft) 35 days ago. Needs considering.

Quick to make into a useful hurdler last season (won on debut at Leopardstown) but pulled up in War of Attrition Hurdle at Punchestown (3m, good to soft) in April. Can bounce back on return for yard with outstanding record in this.
