GO OUT looks a significantly more attractive proposition on all-weather and he can go one place better than he did here a fortnight ago. The consistent Storm Eric should be in the mix again, with Medieval Night and Polanco also meriting consideration.

Timeform Comments

Chester Nimitz (IRE)
Maiden winner for Noel Meade in October. Has dropped a fair way in the weights this year and took a step back in the right direction in a first-time tongue strap at Naas (7f) in August but ran poorly on a rare outing at 6f there later that month.
Holly Holy
Offered a little bit to work with last season for Kevin Phillipart de Foy, found wanting for stamina rather than ability when fifth of 10 in handicap at Chelmsford City (1¼m, 16/1) when last seen 11 months ago. Worth betting check making debut for new yard in first-time tongue strap.
Go Out (FR)
Slipped a long way in the weights after a low-key summer on turf but returned to form back on all-weather when second of 14 in handicap (11/4) at this course (7f) 14 days ago. Leading player if able to back that up.
Storm Eric (IRE)
Gained due reward for a plethora of placed efforts when winning a 14-runner handicap at this course (10.7f, 6/1) 21 days ago, holding on gamely. Drop back in trip isn't an issue and he can go well again despite wide draw.
Tyraxes (IRE)
Made the frame 4 times in maiden company in first half of 2026 but has lost his way since, again finishing well held in a handicap (66/1) at this course (10.7f) 14 days ago. Back down in trip.
Battle Borne (IRE)
Course maiden winner in February who stopped the slide in a change of headgear when fourth of 14 in handicap here (7f, 28/1) 7 days ago. Far from certain to be in the same form this time, though.
Medieval Night (IRE)
In-form maiden who was placed for the fifth time this season when third of 16 in handicap at Gowran (8.3f, soft, 12/1) 11 days ago. Can give another good account on polytrack debut.
Captain Ciano (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who looked no closer to shedding that tag when fifth of 16 in handicap at Gowran (8.3f, soft, 22/1) 11 days ago. Others are much easier to warm to.
Polanco (IRE)
Headstrong sort but arrives after back-to-back in-frame efforts here, most recently when fourth of 14 in handicap (11/4) at this course (7f) 14 days ago. Solid place claims.
Prada's World (IRE)
Strong in the betting having her first try beyond 5f for this yard but was never going quickly enough to seriously threaten when fourth of 14 in handicap at Thurles (8.3f, good to soft) 22 days ago. Makes polytrack debut.
Searcog (IRE)
Fully exposed as modest in this sphere and made little impact when sixth of 9 in claimer at this course (7f) 7 days ago. Respectable efforts in handicaps earlier in the month, though, and is at least now 4 lb lower.
Desert Of The Sea (IRE)
Long-standing maiden ran one of his better races when sixth of 14 in handicap at this course (7f) 14 days ago but remains easy to oppose for win purposes.
Sceitimini (IRE)
Returned to form when third of 15 in handicap at Gowran (8.3f, soft) 11 days ago, just unable to sustain his effort late on after racing freely. Place claims again.
Whatsin The Stars (IRE)
Starman filly who is still to even hint at ability in 6 starts. Easily passed over.
La Campanella (IRE)
Relatively lightly-raced 4-y-o who posted one of her better recent efforts when 3 lengths fourth of 15 in handicap at Bellewstown (1m) in August. Disappointed in a change of headgear (visored) at Roscommon (7.4f, good to soft) 60 days ago. Blinkers now tried. RESERVE.
River Derwent
Unreliable sort. Course winner. Eighteen runs since last win in 2024. 50/1, eleventh of 14 in handicap at this C&D 35 days ago, very slowly away. Not one to be making excuses for and he's opposable again.
Expound
Yet to fire this year and was down the field here on Thursday. RESERVE.
