A dual bumper/hurdles winner for Nicky Richards who went close to making a winning chase debut at Hexham (2½m) in October last year. However, turned in a lacklustre display on first outing for current yard at that venue in May and has shown just fair form on the Flat subsequently.
Le Beau Madrik (FR)
Runner-up sole outing in bumpers and promising novice hurdler last season, winning 3 of his 4 starts (shaped as if amiss when pulled up in Kelso Grade 2 on other). Came up well short on his handicap bow/reappearance in the Welsh Champion Hurdle but this looks an excellent opportunity on chase debut.
