NICELY arrives after back-to-back in-frame efforts in Group 3/listed company and she gets the verdict over Siena Storm, who possesses the strongest form but wouldn't be certain to benefit from this drop to 6f. Love Is completes the shortlist.

Timeform Comments

Bated Benevolence
Bated Breath filly who has been successful on 2 of her 5 starts, going down only narrowly to Nicely in conditions event at Chester. Not quite in same form when 8 lengths sixth of 8 to Moonrise in Sirenia Stakes at Kempton (6f) 55 days ago. Hood on 1st time.
China In Your Hand
Built on debut promise to bag 7f July Course maiden (good to firm) in July. Found the step up to Group 3 company beyond her back there next time and shaped as if she'd sharpen up for the run when sixth of 14 in minor event (22/1) at Goodwood (7f, good to firm) 37 days ago. More needed here, though.
Etonnante (IRE)
Ripon maiden winner on debut who doubled in a 4-runner novice at Haydock last month. Struggled up to Group 3 company at Ayr last time but holds place claims on prior form.
Eyeconic (IRE)
Starspangledbanner filly improved to get off the mark at the fourth attempt in a 10-runner maiden at Navan (5f, soft) 9 days ago. That form is still some way short of what will likely be required here, though. Wears cheekpieces for 1st time.
Faith In Florence (IRE)
Made the frame on her first 4 starts and seemed to benefit from testing conditions when winning 3-runner maiden at Haydock (6f, heavy) 14 days ago. Might not have ground quite as suitable here.
Fillipas (IRE)
Took a significant step forward to get off the mark in 6f Salisbury novice in August. Progressed again with fifth of 11 in Dick Poole back there (6f, good to soft) next time and couldn't get involved from a poor draw at Goodwood last time. Remains one to view positively.
Love Is (IRE)
Overcame inexperience to win 6f Windsor novice on debut in May. Chased home the useful Night In Vegas in a Goodwood conditions race later that month and ran up to her best when 3 lengths fourth of 11 to Acclamation Star in Dick Poole Fillies' Stakes at Salisbury (6f, good to soft) 57 days ago.
Nicely (IRE)
Two-time winner over 6f, including in a conditions race at Chester in August. Creditable fourth of 8 at Kempton on all-weather debut in a Group 3 last month and ran respectably enough to fill the same position over 7f in a Dundalk listed event 4 weeks ago. Player.
Polyxena (IRE)
Overcame obvious inexperience when a 40/1 winner on debut at Windsor in July (6f) and defied a penalty in the manner of a useful prospect over the same C&D 3 weeks later. Beat the rest convincingly when runner-up in a 7f nursery here next time but struggled upped to Group 3 company here 3 weeks ago.
Siena Storm (GER)
Landed the odds second time up at Salisbury (1m) in August. Shaped well when fourth in the Prestige at Goodwood (7f) 2 weeks later and again ran well despite not really handling the track when ½-length fifth of 14 in Oh So Sharp Stakes here (7f, good) 3 weeks ago. Hooded now dropped to sprint trip.
Silesia
Fifth in similar company at York (5f) in August and didn't need to improve to win 8-runner novice (11/10) at Southwell (6f) 8 days ago, seeing things out well despite not really settling. Place claims.
Sydney Grace (IRE)
Looked potentially useful when getting off the mark in a Carlisle novice (5f) in June. Made the frame in listed company at Ayr last month and finished with running left after meeting trouble when fifth in a Kempton nursery (6f) 3 weeks ago. Open to improvement, but more needed at this level.
Troublesome Guest (IRE)
Improved when 1¼ lengths fourth of 5 in a nursery at Yarmouth in August but disappointing back in novice company at Nottingham earlier in the month and she has plenty to find on form.
What A Girl Wants (IRE)
Promise in 3 starts in Ireland in the spring but below that level in 3 outings for Kevin Philippart de Foy, not always looking the most straightforward. Back to form when finally getting off the mark in a 6-runner maiden at Ayr (6f, heavy, 9/4) 31 days ago but others still make more appeal.
