Timeform View

This has been won by some really good sorts in past years and FISHERY LANE looks another likely sort starting out for Dan Skelton having shown plenty of promise over fences for Willie Mullins last season. Walking On A Dream could emerge as the main danger ahead of Kahavari and Patrick's Wells.

Timeform Comments

Fishery Lane (FR)
Fairly useful winning hurdler. Has shaped with plenty of promise over fences for Willie Mullins, bad error 2 out when second of 19 in handicap chase at Punchestown (31f, good) in May. Has since had a breathing operation (cheekpieces also on for first time) and one to be interested in for new yard.
We're Red And Blue
Free-going sort early in his career but looked more professional when gaining a first handicap success at Huntingdon (2m) in December. Rare poor effort in first-time cheekpieces when eighteenth of 21 in handicap hurdle at Punchestown (17f, good to soft) in April. Much respected on chase debut.
Walking On A Dream (IRE)
Quickly back on track over fences with success over extended 2½m at Ayr in March, albeit in a race which took little winning with his 2 rivals making jumping errors. Again ran well when second at Perth (2½m, good to soft) following month and has claims if picking up where he left off.
Kahavari (FR)
A fair 19f winner over hurdles in France. Gained a deserved first chasing success (second 3 times previously) for present yard in 4-runner handicap chase at Sandown (2½m, good to firm) in April. Off since but Brian Hughes is an interesting booking. Engaged 1.10 Wetherby Saturday.
Joltin N Jiving (IRE)
Back on the up over hurdles in a first-time tongue strap when second at Doncaster (21f) in March. Successful between the flags but he came in a well-held fourth of 5 in handicap at Uttoxeter (21f, good to soft) on debut over fences in June. Not written off.
Patrick's Wells (IRE)
Irish point winner. Very lightly raced over hurdles but really caught the eye for his new yard with third of 5 in novice hurdle at Bangor (23f, good) in April, finishing strongly. This is no easy introduction but he rates an interesting prospect now sent chasing.
