Timeform View

LENNON GROVE will have derived plenty from her opening hurdling run and given her bumper form, there should be plenty more to come in this sphere. Cornelienne and I Dont Really Care head the opposition.

Timeform Comments

Afloat
Four-time winner on the Flat in Britain. Fit from a couple of spins on the level for new yard and she's in very good hands as she goes hurdling.
Burning Like Fire (IRE)
Third in a point in March but low-key start to Rules career.
Cerulean Summer (IRE)
A fair maiden handicapper up to 1½m on Flat for Dylan Cunha but low-key start over hurdles for current yard.
Cornelienne (IRE)
Useful Flat winner who achieved similar form when hitting the frame both starts over hurdles last winter. Heavy defeat in the Irish Cesarewitch last month but she retains potential in this sphere.
Cosmic Front
Fairly useful Flat performer, successful on latest start in February (all 3 wins on all-weather). In top hands and shaped better than end result both starts in this sphere.
Eagle Doll (IRE)
Saddle slipped early when pulled up in novice hurdle at Clonmel (2½m, good to soft) in April but the fact she was sent off 100/1 doesn't speak positively.
Eagle River (IRE)
Didn't offer much in points and showed even less in a maiden hurdle in May.
Filly Butler (IRE)
Capri mare. Half-sister to 4 winners, including useful hurdler Irish Roe and fairly useful 2½m/23f hurdle winner Trasna Na Pairce.
Hillview Lass (IRE)
Lauro mare. Dam unraced half-sister to fairly useful hurdle/chase winner (stayed 3m) Epic Warrior. Maiden pointer but did only find one too good.
I Dont Really Care (IRE)
Went with enthusiasm and would have gone close but for departing in a Roscommon maiden (2½m) in September. Upped in class and ran as well as could be expected in listed company 2 weeks ago. Should be a factor here.
Kildinan Lass (IRE)
Walk In The Park mare. Sister to fairly useful hurdler Any Road. Dam unraced sister to useful bumper winner/high-class hurdler (stayed 25f) At Fishers Cross.
Lennon Grove (IRE)
Progressed with each run in bumpers, winning at Thurles before placed in a higher grade next 2 starts, latest of which was very good 1¼ lengths second of 20 in Mares' National Hunt Flat Race at Aintree back in April. Sure to build on opening third over hurdles at Listowel and she's the one to beat.
Lennora (IRE)
Looks limited on early evidence.
Miss Stargazer (IRE)
Walk In The Park filly. Half-sister to numerous winners, including Grand National winner One For Arthur and useful hurdler/chaser Forza Milan, stayed 29f.
Not A Whisper (IRE)
Elusive Pimpernel filly. Half-sister to 4 winners, including fairly useful chase winner Not Staying Long (19f-25f winner). Limited impact in 3 starts.
Potters Queen (IRE)
Second foal, dam unraced half-sister to fairly useful hurdler (stayed 2½m) Glimpse of Gold. Third completed start in points, pulled up last time (Jan 2026).
Soldier Power (IRE)
Soldier of Fortune filly. Dam (h87), lightly raced over hurdles, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler who became temperamental (stayed 23f) Keenes Day.
Streamhill (IRE)
Has garnered plenty of experience in bumpers, getting off the mark at Fairyhouse last month. That form isn't anything to be getting carried away with, though.
Tintara (IRE)
Runner-up completed start in points and lost out only on the nod in a bumper at Cork (2m, soft) in April. Looked like a stayer in a better race at Punchestown later that month and while she's kept to 2m for hurdling debut, she's still of interest.
Weaponized (IRE)
Walk In The Park filly who found one too strong in a couple of bumpers back in the spring. Always behind upped in grade on recent return at Gowran and underwhelming hurdling debut 10 days ago. Down in trip with hood back on.
Westie's Eile (IRE)
€20,000 3-y-o, Affinisea mare. Half-sister to 3 winners, including useful hurdler/smart chaser Churchstonewarrior and useful hurdler Western Walk.
