JUBILANT represents the in-form James Owen team and with the benefit of a recent spin over hurdles under his belt he could well be the answer. Rickety Bridge is unbeaten over fences and can provide the biggest threat on his return.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Rickety Bridge traded at a high of 4.90 and Betfair SP of 4.41 when winning last time, a race in which it raced in mid-field.

Timeform Comments

Alien Storm (IRE)
Course specialist (4-time winner here) who took a heavy fall over fences when last seen in this sphere in June. Might've needed the outing after a 4-month break when down the field over hurdles at Chepstow 3 weeks ago. Trip remains a slight concern despite positive record at the track.
Ile De Jersey (FR)
In good form last summer, winning handicap hurdle and 2 chases over 2½m. However, ended 2025 on a low-key note in latter sphere, pulled up at Doncaster when last seen in December. Others preferred following 10 months off.
Tommie Beau (IRE)
Likeable veteran with a quarter of his 16 wins coming at Cartmel, latest in 5-runner event there (25f, good to soft) in August. Let down by his jumping when fifth of 7 in handicap chase at Sedgefield (29f, good) 15 days ago and others make more appeal overall.
Rickety Bridge (FR)
Point winner/successful hurdler who has made a fine start to life over fences, forging clear to take his record to 3-3 when winning 4-runner handicap chase at Newton Abbot (3¼m, good) 143 days ago. Up 8 lb but open to further improvement.
Lord Accord (IRE)
Forward-going sort who won at Fontwell last October and signed off 2025/26 by chasing home a pair of younger rivals at Warwick, Beaten by much more than 6-month absence when last of 11 over hurdles at Perth 39 days ago, though. Blinkers back on for return to chasing.
Jubilant (FR)
Capped a fine 12 months (including 3 chase wins) when comfortably justifying support in a 5-runner handicap hurdle at Plumpton (3¼m) in May. Shaped as if better for the outing on last month's return over hurdles at Uttoxeter and he makes plenty of appeal with yard's jumpers in great form.
