Winless since his juvenile season but he ran his best race for a while when second at Kempton (1m) in August, going down to an improver but nicely on top of remainder. Not in the same form on soft ground at York last time but isn't ruled out
Maestro Del Mar (FR)
Cemented his promising start for new yard when finishing a good second on handicap debut at Kempton (1½m) in August. Found life tougher back in novice grade against 3-y-os when fourth at Southwell next time and disappointing back on turf in similar company at Epsom 36 days ago. Has been gelded.
Mr Nugget
In excellent form on all-weather at the start of the year with 3 wins. Well held on his last 4 runs though and has something to prove now back up in trip.
Kokoluna
Made a successful handicap debut at Nottingham (8.5f, good to soft) in April and doubled her tally at Goodwood (1¼m) in August, awarded the race after suffering interference. Possibly needed the outing back at Nottingham 26 days ago, so this run should reveal more.
Hamdania (IRE)
Won over 7f at Wolverhampton on debut in December and was runner-up at Lingfield on first start since in September. Looked set to go close before veering badly 1f out on handicap debut at Southwell but didn't really improve on that form switched to turf at Yarmouth since.
Magician Of Riga (IRE)
Won back-to-back all-weather handicaps at up to 1½m in April. Shaped well from a long way back when fifth of 11 in handicap at Wolverhampton (9.5f, 11/2) 28 days ago and can be given chance to build on that encouraging effort.
Liberate
Doubled her tally on second run for new yard at Brighton (1¼m) in August but has been struggling for form since.
Renesmee
Dual winner here (including over C&D). Down to a handy mark based on her efforts in the spring but was only ninth of 10 in handicap at Wolverhampton (9.5f) 14 days ago, so will need to bounce back.
