Timeform View

MINI MAC has a less-than-ideal stall to overcome but James Owen's 4-y-o probably has enough in hand under a double penalty to complete the hat-trick. He gets the vote over Rovinia, who has plenty of decent efforts to his name this season and quickly returns to his optimum trip. Course specialist Bungle Bay rounds off the shortlist.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Mini Mac traded at a high of 2.90 and Betfair SP of 1.99 when winning last time, a race in which it raced towards the rear.

Timeform Comments

Mini Mac (IRE)
Became an umpteenth winning stable-switcher for this yard when scoring decisively over C&D last Tuesday and made light of a 5-lb penalty to follow up in 13-runner event at Southwell a couple of days later. Stall 10 not ideal but fancied to complete the hat-trick under a double penalty.
Ramon Di Loria (IRE)
Back-to-back winner here in February and returned to a similar level with 3 consecutive placed efforts on turf this summer. However, he's been below form the last twice, racing too freely after 12 weeks off at Musselburgh last month.
Havana Halo
Low-mileage filly who posted her best effort of the season when second of 5 in 6f handicap at Windsor in April. Largely out of sorts since, including when trying 1m for the first time at Bath recently.
Luna Beaux (IRE)
Dual 6f winner here who returned to form with a couple of in-frame efforts at Bath in May/June. Not so good at Chepstow the last twice but returns to all-weather from 4 months off on a handy looking mark.
King David (IRE)
Sole win came in 2024 but was knocking on the door with a couple of runner-up efforts over 1m at Brighton in recent weeks. Hampered start and can have a line put through last month's effort there but others more appealing for win purposes.
Superstorm
Finally opened his account having dropped to a career-low mark at Brighton in August and backed that up on his next couple of outings. Not so good back at Brighton just over 5 weeks ago and has since switched yards.
Men Of Honour (IRE)
Yet to open his account in 16 starts and again seemed stretched by the 7f trip at Southwell last month. Others preferred with that in mind.
Elias Escape (IRE)
Found some progress sent handicapping when third of 8 over C&D in September but regressed markedly from that effort a fortnight later at Newcastle.
Rovinia
Resumed winning ways at Lingfield over 7f in August and unlucky when third at Chepstow next time. Respectable effort back down in trip when third of 11 at Kempton (6f) just under 5 weeks ago and looks to have solid place claims reunited with Loughnane.
Cuban Fiesta
Won 6-runner classified event at Lingfield (7f) in February on his final run for Denis Quinn and back from a 7-month break with a creditable third of 10 over C&D in September. Failed to build on that with the headgear discarded since, however.
Lihou Lady
Little promise in her 5 career starts to date, most recently back from 4 months off at Kempton (1m).
Bungle Bay (IRE)
Five-time C&D winner who has struggled for consistency this year, failing to come on for his return over C&D just over 5 weeks ago. Career-low mark to work with if he's on a going day.
