JODHPUR BLUE just about holds the best claims with an eye-catching jockey booking tilting things in his favour. Barachiel and Caraway make most appeal of the rest.

Timeform Comments

Twilight Moon
Won successive Lingfield (all-weather) handicaps in December/April. Has run creditably since but was never involved at Southwell 12 days ago. Blinkers go on for the first time and she's well treated at present.
Romantic Spirit (FR)
Four-time winner last season but hadn't scaled those heights this year until beaten a neck in handicap at Lingfield in September, having run of race. Market best guide.
Harlington (FR)
Made bright start for current yard, recording a hat-trick on all-weather in January/February. In decent nick since, posting a good second following 11 weeks off at Kempton (1½m) 25 days ago. Can be competitive again having slipped 2 lb below last winning mark.
Bint Al Daar
Hasn't really got competitive since ending a long losing run back against her own sex at Southwell in March. Excuses when down the field there last time. Is on an attractive mark at present.
Jodhpur Blue (FR)
Better on all-weather and, though yet to win a handicap or for this yard, has finished runner-up on last 2 starts at Southwell and round here. Now goes back up in trip and Billy Loughnane takes over.
Barachiel (IRE)
Runner-up in a Taunton bumper in March. Lightly-raced maiden on Flat. Showed much improved form when second of 10 on handicap debut (22/1) over C&D last week, suited by step up in trip. Can go well again.
Ottoman (IRE)
Doubled his tally for the season over C&D in September. Unseated leaving the stalls at Haydock next time but back on track with fourth of 7 over 1¾m here 3 weeks ago. Respected. Engaged 7.00 Wolverhampton Monday.
Caraway
In good hands and won over C&D in October. Progressed again though found one too good in modestly-run 5-runner contest again over C&D 11 days ago. Entitled to be in the mix once more.
Astrid (FR)
Lightly-raced filly who improved further when second of 5 on handicap debut at Southwell (1¾m) 31 days ago, despite conceding first run. Respected.
Man Of Desert
Maiden who's proved more miss than hit this season. Mark has plummeted as a result and made the frame here last time after another change of headgear. Tries this longer trip for the first time. Others more persuasive.
Glamerous
Showed little in 3 qualifying runs on all-weather earlier in the year for Michael Attwater. The cheekpieces go on but she's hard to make a case for on handicap debut.
