This has an open look to it with HEY NOW taken to pick up where he left off in the spring and supplement his Sligo win. Kentucky Beach's record fresh marks him out as a possible threat, along with Le Roi du Livet and The Besty Woman.

Timeform Comments

Le Roi Du Livet (FR)
Fairly useful 5-y-o. Travelled well/confirmed previous promise when winning 15-runner maiden at Tramore (2m, good to soft) in late-May. Must concede weight all round but can still be a factor.
Hey Now
Had shaped with encouragement in a bumper/maiden hurdle prior to justifying support in good style at Sligo (2¼m) in May. There's further improvement to come on just his fourth career start, and he may well follow up with Mark Walsh aboard first time.
Kentucky Beach (FR)
Back to form when third in a competitive-looking handicap at Fairyhouse in April and better than the result when pulled up in a Tramore maiden later that month. Return of tongue strap could help and he goes well fresh/could get the run of the race.
The Besty Woman (IRE)
Promising 5-y-o from excellent yard. Opened her account in a course bumper in May and fared better than previously over hurdles when 9-length second in Listowel maiden on return. Further improvement needed, however, that's not out of the question given her profile.
An Peann Dearg (IRE)
Largely disappointing since back-to-back wins at Leopardstown a couple of winters ago, never a factor back hurdling in July.
Euro Agent (IRE)
Fair sort. Had been running well in similar events prior to landing the odds in a Downpatrick maiden (17f) last time, his stamina kicking in late on back down in trip. Needs a bit more on these terms.
Mystic Rose (IRE)
Maiden staying handicapper at a modest level on the Flat. Getting the hang of hurdling, keeping the errors down when opening account in 13-runner maiden at Sligo 12 days ago. Bare form isn't out of the ordinary.
Old Saxony (IRE)
Fair Flat winner for David Simcock but yet to achieve that level in 4 starts over hurdles.
Royal Belief (IRE)
Showed much-improved form to get off the mark in a Limerick maiden in March. Backed that up with a good second on the Flat at Gowran the following month and fit from a recent spin on the level. Likely has more to offer.
