HARTFORD will ultimately require a longer distance when tackling obstacles but there's no reason why he can't land this bumper first. Prince Malinas will also be plugging on, while better was clearly expected from Ants Fantasy here in the summer.

Berkshire gelding. Dam unraced. Yard has the odd bumper winner and this isn't a strong race of its type. Wears hood.
Tale Of Intrigue (IRE)
Patchy record in bumpers but claims on his penultimate second at Tramore when splitting a promising pair.
Hartford (IRE)
Cost top connections €235,000 last year and is from a good jumping family. Has made a promising start in stronger bumpers at Naas and Punchestown (stuck to his task admirably having been off the bridle a good way out). Will want a longer trip but this is a good opening on return.
Madison Twist (FR)
Has shown a bit in a couple of bumpers (trained by R. P. Rath on debut) but will need a big jolt of improvement to make an impact here.
