APACHE OUTLAW hasn't been firing in turf handicaps but has a good chance on these terms on his first go in a claimer and back at the scene of his last 2 wins. The lightly-raced Saint Acclaim might be the danger.

Timeform Comments

Saint Acclaim (IRE)
Thrice-raced maiden placed again when third in 5f Navan maiden a fortnight ago. Could have more to offer back at Dundalk (went close over C&D second start).
Apache Outlaw (IRE)
Been out of sorts in turf handicaps but back at the scene of his last 2 wins (at the end of 2024) and has a good chance on these terms if putting his best foot forward.
Aughlish (IRE)
Reached the frame in 3 sprint maidens here earlier in the year. Has gone the wrong way since, however, and is hard to recommend even dropped into a claimer.
Go Athletico (FR)
A dual Group 3 winner at his peak and placed 3 times in sprint handicaps on turf this year. Has a shout if bouncing back from a couple of lesser runs now sporting refitted cheekpieces.
Venetian (IRE)
Fairly useful course winner who was always behind returning from 7 months off minus his usual headgear (absent again) in 1m claimer here last week. Not sure sprinting is his bag these days but worth noting if the market speaks in his favour.
Thurso
Winner of handicap at Bath (5.7f) on final start for Richard Hughes and similar form when fourth in a big-field contest at Navan (5f) on stable debut. Not beaten another rival in 3 starts since, however (including in a Gowran claimer).
Jallaaf (IRE)
Mid-field in a 7f maiden on debut last December, but failed to repeat that effort when last of 9 over 1m back here in February. Off 8 months since.
Star Allure (IRE)
Limited filly who makes little appeal on these terms.
