Timeform View

IFF IN DOUBT has returned to form here of late and dropped 2 lb and now contesting a 0-60, can resume winning ways under an excellent apprentice. Dandyville showed all is not lost last time and could figure if building on that. Final Boss could have a race in him judged on his latest showing.

Timeform Comments

Comfort Line (IRE)
A 7-time course winner, while he also scored at the Curragh in August. Not so good of late and may have gone off the boil, although worth noting he was successful on his last go in a 0-60 here.
Final Boss (IRE)
Yet to win but with his mark having dropped 15 lb he ran better than for a while in refitted blinkers on his first visit here last week. Could have a race in him on that showing.
Iff In Doubt (IRE)
Opened his account in C&D handicap in February and back in good form at this venue in recent weeks, not ideally placed last time. Big shout back in a 0-60.
Carrigans Grove (IRE)
Much improved in 2025, winning 3 times, but hasn't looked the same straightforward and consistent type this year, again getting going late at Navan last time. Has dropped a long way in the weights if a return to Dundalk can re-ignite her spark.
Volendam
Belatedly off the mark at Bath (1m) in April for Tony Carroll. Placed twice subsequently, but hasn't beaten another rival in 2 runs for current yard. Returns from a break with a hood back on.
El Fontenaro (IRE)
Had twice gone close before finally opening her account at Cork (6f) in late-July. One of her lesser efforts at Navan a fortnight ago and others preferred back up in trip.
Dandyville (IRE)
Useful handicapper at best and signs of a revival from a massively-reduced mark in this headgear here a fortnight ago. A player if building on that (last win came in a 70-100 handicap over C&D 3 years ago).
Whistling Jamesie
Made a successful nursery debut here (6f) a year ago off a 10 lb higher mark. Lightly raced this time around, possibly needing the run over C&D after 4 months off last week. New headgear tried.
Vibrato (IRE)
Won at Southwell over this trip last summer for Jennie Candlish. Failed to fire for new yard at the start of 2026 but returns from 7 months off now and is another who has dropped plenty in the weights.
Glen Breeze (IRE)
Won at Limerick (7f) in July. Mixed record since, never in the hunt the last twice. Others preferred.
Hastily
C&D winner back in December 2024 but of little account nowadays.
Jackandthefox (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who has been strong in the betting on a couple of occasions this season but continues to find a first win hard to come by. Interesting to see if the money comes again back up in trip with cheekpieces tried.
Pick A Window (IRE)
Showed more than previously upped in trip when fifth of 13 in handicap at Limerick (7f) in June. However, nowhere near that form since, including in first-time cheekpieces latest.
River Derwent
Has 3 C&D wins to his name but has looked on the downgrade, always behind after a slow start back from 4 months off here 6 weeks ago.
Chester Nimitz (IRE)
Maiden winner for Noel Meade a year ago. Has dropped a fair way in the weights this year and all didn't look lost fitted with a tongue tie at Naas in August. Well held twice since, however. RESERVE.
Battle Borne (IRE)
C&D maiden winner in February but hard to catch right. Change of headgear. RESERVE.
