Timeform View

ONE COOL COUNTY produced easily his best effort to date from a tricky position when fourth over 1m at Killarney 4 weeks ago and still relatively unexposed, he could be worth chancing to build on the promise of that effort. The Rock Factor is an intriguing runner returning from a break for his shrewd yard and is one to note. Star Mind and Dancing Steve are 2 in-form sorts also worth a look.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

One Cool County traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 4 starts: Zitkala Sa has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Dancing Steve (IRE)
Off the mark for the season in handicap at Down Royal (13f, good) in September and easily best effort since when second behind an in-form rival over 1½m here 7 days ago, headed late on. Should go well again.
Star Mind
Successful from a 3 lb lower mark at Leopardstown (9f, soft) in April and having shaped better than bare result on her penultimate start here, she returned to her best when second in a C&D handicap 4 weeks ago, upsides under 2f out and keeping on. Very much a player with a repeat.
Thompson Gunner (IRE)
C&D winner in January for Cian Hughes who turned in best effort since on first start for new yard when fifth over C&D 26 days ago (Star Mind second). Refitting of blinkers certainly no bad thing and he's down to a handy mark.
The Rock Factor (IRE)
Showed ability in maidens and whilst he failed to improve in his first handicap (1m) in June, he's been given time off ahead of this and is in excellent hands. Market check advised.
Robot Rock (FR)
Runner-up in a claimer in France last summer. Yet to make a meaningful impact for present yard but did hint at a revival when sixth of 12 in a handicap at Navan (1¼m, good to firm) in July. Noteworthy if betting spoke in his favour.
Suerte (IRE)
Yet to win and slow starts haven't helped her cause but she went with more encouragement having been sent forward from a wide draw when keeping on for second in 16-runner handicap at Navan (1¼m, good to soft) 28 days ago. Similar tactics ought to see her to good effect again.
Jess Abi (IRE)
No better than mid-division in 3 maidens and similar story in handicaps. Probably needed first start for 10 months starting out for new stable over 7f here 4 weeks ago and return to further looks in her favour.
Miss Glenville (IRE)
Lightly-raced mare who provided encouragement after 20 months off when fifth at Clonmel in September but failed to build on that at Thurles last month. Others more persuasive now stepped back up in trip.
Lisnadill
Failed to beat a rival in 3 starts on Flat for Colin McBratney during the spring and discouraging start over hurdles thereafter. Has it to prove reverting to this sphere for new stable.
Zitkala Sa (IRE)
Made the frame for just the second time when fourth of 14 in handicap at this course (1½m, 100/1) in September. Backward step when eighth in a C&D handicap 4 weeks ago, though she was snatched up after 3f. Cheekpieces back on but others look to hold stronger claims.
Connova (IRE)
Consistent filly on the whole who matched her previous best when third over further here in September. Produced a rather underwhelming effort at Navan latest but no surprise to see her bounce back and she remains unexposed on all-weather.
One Cool County (IRE)
Limited impact in maidens but ran well switched to a handicap and shaped better than bare result from a poor draw when fourth at Killarney (1m) 4 weeks ago, left poorly placed but noted finishing well. That gives him something to build on.
Pettus Bridge (FR)
Lightly-raced maiden backed up previous effort with a hood added when fifth of 14 in handicap at Down Royal (11f) 37 days ago, making headway without landing a blow. Not dismissed from a basement mark.
Onyeisi
Consistent performer on all-weather for Charlie Johnston last winter. Largely struggled on turf for current connections and fared no better returned to polytrack over C&D 7 weeks ago.
My First Rose (IRE)
Yard has had success with this family, but didn't offer much in a trio of maidens and failed to improve sent handicapping when well held at the Curragh (1¾m) 3 weeks ago. Cheekpieces go on for all-weather debut. RESERVE.
Sarfarcat (IRE)
Yet to better poor form in 7 starts to date and much more needed. RESERVE.
Kings Gesture
Has cut little ice in 5 handicap outings to date. Blinkers now reached for. RESERVE.
