Timeform View

Highly likely that this will be dominated by bumper winners ORDER ON TIME and St James's Finest. Both looked useful last season with the former arguably slightly more impressive in victory, so he's marginally preferred. Moonrise Monarch also represents a successful yard so needs considering.

Timeform Comments

Aye Over Tee
€62,000 3-y-o, Arrigo gelding. Half-brother to 3 winners, including smart hurdler/chaser Inthepocket. Has a good pedigree but given a considerate introduction at Carlisle 2 weeks ago.
Dance Ifyoucan (IRE)
Second foal, dam unraced sister to fairly useful hurdler (stayed 2½m) Tagula Blue. Winning pointer, fell last time (May 2026).
Horethorne (IRE)
Geordieland gelding who has merely hinted at ability in a couple of bumpers and a novice hurdle.
Jeu Magic (FR)
€35,000 3-y-o, second foal, dam runner-up sole start over hurdles in France. May just need this initial experience.
Just Jaffa (IRE)
Third foal, dam (h82) point winner/maiden hurdler (stayed 2½m). Not an obvious type on paper.
Moonrise Monarch
Half-brother to 4 winners, including fairly useful hurdle/useful chase winner Tarada and fairly useful hurdler Marada (2m winner). Dam (c137/h127) 2m-3m hurdle/chase winner. Newcomer for successful yard so has to command respect.
Order On Time (IRE)
Bought for £200,000 after finishing runner-up on sole start in Irish points. Sent off 6/5 and looked a good prospect when overcoming inexperience to make a winning start in 11-runner bumper here in April. May outclass these on hurdling debut.
Plan De Stan
Planteur gelding who finished runner-up both starts in bumpers at Hereford last season. Nowhere near that level on hurdling debut in May.
Stagge Hyll
Sent off 200/1 but debut fifth of 7 at Doncaster last December wasn't devoid of promise.
St James's Finest (IRE)
Jukebox Jury gelding. Dam (c128/h121) 2¾m/3m hurdle/chase winner (stayed 27f). Bred to stay well but displayed enough speed to make second bumper start a winning one at Windsor in January. Second that day won next time and he has to be of interest for all-conquering yard now hurdling.
The Two Four (IRE)
Westerner gelding. Brother to fair hurdler Saddle Her Up. Dam unraced half-sister to bumper winner/fairly useful 17f hurdle winner Ciandarragh. Runner-up on his only start in Irish points in March but stable normally employs a patient approach.
Timmie Two (IRE)
Sea Moon gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to useful hurdler (stayed 3¼m) Oh Land Abloom. Runner-up in a point bumper and shaped like a stayer in a bumper at Exeter for L.Jefford.
Lady Bam (IRE)
Irish point winner who made an encouraging start to her career under Rules when third of 8 in a heavy-ground bumper at Hexham back in March. Looks a handicap project over hurdles.
