Timeform View

PALLISER has gone very close since switching to handicaps and is narrowly preferred to the thriving Snooker McCrew. South Kensington may prove best of the others.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Palliser traded at a low of 3.35 and Betfair SP of 18.50 when losing last time, a race in which it raced prominently.

Timeform Comments

Valentine Boy
Both wins over C&D, including in May. Not at his best of late but he's now back on a winning mark.
Bobacious
Took advantage of a sliding mark at Epsom in July but has run poorly both runs since and widest stall makes things difficult.
Snooker Mccrew
Arrives at the top of his game after completing a hat-trick with something to spare over C&D 4 weeks ago under this rider and another bold bid looks on the cards despite another hike in the weights.
Royal Jet
Recorded his fifth win since December at Lingfield in March but well held under a penalty next time and ran no sort of race after 7 months off 18 days ago.
Port Erin (IRE)
A 3-time winner (including over C&D) in 2025. Yet to hit form this year despite a slipping mark, however. Headgear back on.
Soy Loco (IRE)
Placed a couple of times in maidens but failed to make an impact in handicaps. Best watched back down in trip after 14 months off.
Wield
Well held last 3 starts and his second at Southwell in August remains a standout effort for this yard.
Dandy G Boy (IRE)
Successful twice on all-weather last year. Belatedly proved himself on turf when second at Brighton but failed to meet expectations back on an artificial surface since. Change of headgear.
South Kensington (IRE)
Hit-and-miss performer. Doubled her tally for present yard at Brighton last month, suited by good pace. Only fifth off revised mark there since but that was a better race than this.
Beachborough Girl
Holding her form well this year and she scored for the second time when leading near the line at Wolverhampton in June. Creditable fifth off 3 lb higher 2 weeks later but off since.
Hint Of The Jungle (IRE)
Scored twice on all-weather in February and showed a gutsy attitude to resume winning ways at Chepstow in June. Ran poorly back from a break last 2 starts, though, and now tackles 1m for the first time.
Palliser
Took a sizeable step forward switched to handicaps on last 2 starts, just denied both times (bumped close home at Wolverhampton). Surely only a matter of time before he goes one better. Headgear on.
Senor Campanaro (IRE)
Ended 2025 with success at Newcastle in December. Back-to-form second at Ffos Las in June on his final run for Ed Walker but made a low-key start for this yard here 4 weeks ago.
Blue Celestial
Went close a couple of times this summer but has now been a beaten favourite on 3 of her last 6 outings having failed to meet expectations back from a break at Southwell 2 weeks ago.
